Cheater

"Taylor, good news." Ariana says, making me jump up out of bed.

"What?"

"Kayla is coming back today." She says, shaking her hands.

"She can come, that doesn't mean I'm gonna learn from her." I say into my pillow, disappointed by the news.

"Yes you will. Get ready, she'll be here in an hour." She says, closing my door.

I groan as I make my way out of bed and into the shower. I take a shower and get dressed in yellow tights and a black shirt. Black and yellow because I like bee's. Just kidding, I like the song.

I put on no make up but put my hair in a messy bun. I grab my phone and go downstairs. I make myself some cereal and eat it slowly. Kayla gets here when I'm halfway through my cereal.

I wait for Skai while eating my cereal really slowly. When I'm done, I go with Skai into our 'classroom'.

"Nice is you to join me." She says, turning off her phone.

"Thanks for the warm welcome." I say sarcastically.

Skai stays quiet since I'm the one who talks during class.

"Today, we're learning about 1 and 2 step inequalities."

3 1/2 Hours Later

"Class dismissed. We're taking a test tomorrow. Don't forget to study." She says, packing up her stuff as we leave.

"I need to go check on Zach. Wanna come?" I ask, putting on my black converse.

"Sure. I'd love to." She says, looking more excited than usual.

"Let's go." I tell her, grabbing my purse and my phone.

We walk across the street and knock on Zach's door.

"Oh hey, Taylor."

"Hi Taylor. Can we see Zach?"

"Sure. Do you mind staying here with him while I go shopping? I've been here for a week with him and I need some alone time." She says, grabbing her purse.

"Sure. Go ahead." I say and she rushes out the door.

I go upstairs and knock on the door to Zach's room.

"Come in." He says.

"Hey." I say, sitting on his bed.

"Hi Taylor. Haven't seen you in a while." He says awkwardly.

"Yea. I've been sort of busy. You look normal. What's wrong?"

"I had a cold. It's still sorta here." He says, shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh, hey Skai. Didn't see you there..." He says.

"Hi." She says, smiling.

They are acting weird.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick. I was to invested in my learning with Kayla that I never went."

"If you consider scrolling through Twitter learning, of course." Skai says, laughing.

"Whatever." I say, going down the hallway to the bathroom.

2 Minutes Later

I walk into Zach's room and almost faint. Skai is kissing Zach on the bed.

"Skai? Is this what you've been doing while I wasn't around?" I whisper.

"Taylor, no. It's not what it looks like. Not at all." She says, jumping up.

"What it looks like is my best friend is making my boyfriend treat on me, but maybe I'm wrong. I thought I could trust my friends, but I guess I can't." I run out of his house and across the street.

When I get in the house, I run up the stairs and into my room, slamming the door behind me.

"Taylor, are you ok?" Ariana says, opening my door.

"Does it look like I'm ok?"

"No, not really. What happened?" She asks.

"Zach... cheated on me... with Skai."

"I though they were your friends."

"So did I. I guess not. This is why I only trust my family." I say, slamming my face in my pillow.

"It's ok hun. Things will get better. They always do." She says, rubbing my back.

"I know. It hurts, though."

"It does. It's happened before."

"I'm done. I don't want a boyfriend anymore. I decided I'm to young for this." I say, wiping my face.

"Good. Stay in here as long as you want, little sis." She says, kissing me on my forehead and walking out.

I get a few missed calls from Zach and Skai but ignore them. I spend the rest of the day in my room, not eating or anything. I stay in my bed watching Spongebob.
