Dinner Drama

7:30 pm

So, we're going to dinner in the limo, all dressed up. Just the people who live in our house. We have reservations for 8 at a fancy restaurant called Providence that has seafood and Italian.

"Ariana, do they have spaghetti?"

"Obviously. It's an Italian restaurant. Do you know where spaghetti comes from? Italy." She says in a sarcastic voice, not looking up from her phone.

"Excuse you. Who do you think you're talking to?"

"You."

"You must be mistaken. No one talks to me like that."

"I'm pretty sure I just did."

"Check again, trick."

"Ohhhhhhhh." Sean says, covering his mouth.

"What did you just call me?"

"I know you heard me. I said trick."

"Taylor don't you ever talk to me like that again."

"And you are?" I reply and look at my phone.

"I am your big sister, that means you have to..." She trails off, realizing she's wrong and looks at her phone.

"That's what I thought." I mutter and look at Sean whose dying of laughter.

He makes me laugh too and eventually, every one but Ariana is laughing.

"Come on Ari. You know you wanna laugh. I was just playing." I tickle her and she tries very hard to hide her smile, which she's good at, being an actress.

She bust out laughing and after 5 minutes, the limo is silent. We arrive at Providence at 7:55 pm.

"Reservation for Anderson." Sean says and Ariana smiles at her new name.

"Oh, of course. Come right this way." The waiter says.

"This is your booth and I'll be right back to take your drink orders." Sean thanks him and he walks away smiling.

After he comes back, every one orders and we wait for out food.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom."

"Me too." Kenzie says.

I pick her up and make sure her pink and white dress is good before walking to the bathroom. A little bit before we get there, Skai and Zach are sitting at a 2-person table talking quietly.

"Hi Taylor." Skai beams.

I ignore her while Kenzie waves and smiles.

8:45 pm

Everyone is done with their food and we go out to the limo. After I put Mackenzie in her car seat, I get in and receive a text message.

Skai: Why did you ignore me?

Me: You know why. Stop talking to me.

I turn off my phone but don't block her number.

9:15

We're at home now and the twins are asleep. After Ariana takes care of them and puts them in bed, I take care of Kenzie and put her to bed too.

"Taylor, can you get the door?" Ariana says.

"Sure." I go open the door and am surprised to see Skai and Zach standing together.

"Skai, what do you want?"

"Hi." She beams.

"Why are you here? I'm trying to not be rude, but I told you to leave me alone."

"Sorry to bother you, but I wanted to apologize."

"You always want to apologize. Just do it already."

"I'm sorry for doing this to you. I guess this is goodbye."

"Sorry Taylor." Zach says.

I give them a fake smile and close the door, then the doorbell rings again 5 minutes later.

It's Cameron.

"Hey Taylor." He says, smiling.

"Hi. What are you doing here?"

"I heard you when I was taking a walk. Is everything ok?"

"I guess. Wanna come in the living room? Everyone else is upstairs."

"Sure. Can we watch a movie?"

"Absolutely. We can watch Mockingjay Part 2. I haven't seen it yet. Have you?"

"I wanted to see it so bad. I actually really love the hunger games."

"Cool." I put the movie in and sit next to him on the couch.

9:30 pm

It's the middle of the movie and Katniss just got shot but she's still alive. I look at Cameron and he surprises me by kissing me.

"Taylor, I've loved you since the day I met you. Will be my girlfriend?"

"Yes."

"Aww, so sweet." Ariana says.

"Why are you spying on me?"

"I kinda wasn't but I kinda was. Sean fell asleep when we were watching 50 Shades of Grey and I came down here cause I was bored and this was happening." She sits on the couch and watches the movie.

Cameron stays until the movies over, then kisses me on the forehead and leaves.

"I thought you said you were to young for that."

"I changed my mind." Me and Ariana stay downstairs and watch movies then fall asleep around 1 am.
