Mackenzie's Here

I wake up to the doorbell ringing. I look at the clock next to my bed seeing that it's 9:23. Since no one else is up, I go to answer the door.

When I open the door, I see a woman holding a little adorable girl probably Mackenzie. "Hi you must be Taylor. Ariana's sister right? The one taking care of Mackenzie with Zach. Ariana told me everything. I'm Samantha and I work at the orphanage Mackenzie was in."

"Yes I'm Taylor." I say while taking them into the living room. "I'll go get Ariana and Sean. You can make yourself comfortable." I say before running up the stairs and into Ariana and Sean's room. "Hey guys wake up Mackenzie's here with Samantha." "Awesome. We will get ready and be down there in 5 minutes."

After walking down the stairs and sitting next to Samantha and Mackenzie, I start asking about them. "So can you tell me some stuff about Mackenzie?" "Well she is about 6 months, her birthday is February 15, her parents put her up to adoption when she was about 2 months old. She's also in love with pink. That's pretty much it."

"Well she's definitely gonna love her room." I say as Sean and Ariana walk into the living room. "Hi Samantha." "Hi Ariana." Samantha says before standing up, handing the sleeping Mackenzie to me, and giving Ariana a hug.

"Samantha's an old friend of mine." "Cool. Thank you Samantha. For bringing her here. I'm gonna go put her in her crib." "Hey can I come too? I just need to make sure the room is safe for her." "Sure." I say before walking up the stairs with Samantha following behind me.

When we get to the room, I open the door and walk to the crib putting Mackenzie down while Samantha walks around the room making sure everything is safe. "Ok so everything looks good here so that should be it." "Thanks Samantha." I say while following Samantha downstairs.

"Ok so that should be it." "Thanks Samantha." "No problem." She says while walking out the door. After Ariana closes the door we all walk into the living room. "Zach should be here in a few. After you came to wake us up I called him and told him to come over because we have something to tell you."

About 5 minutes later the doorbell rings. "I'll get it." "Hey Zach." "Hey Taylor. So I heard Mackenzie's here." He says while following me into the living room. "Indeed she is. She's sleeping right now." "Guys come sit down we have to tell you something."

"Well we decided that we need to get back to work so we're going on tour for about 3 months." "Really? That's awesome." "We're gonna need someone to watch you so my friend Alexa is going to come for those 3 months."

"I know Alexa from your videos with her." "Yep that's the one. She's going to watch you guys and help with Mackenzie if you need it. Zach she's going to help you with Mackenzie while Taylor goes to record her show. Your cousin Taylor will come over here from time to time and you can go over there as much as you want."

"Ok so when will Alexa be here?" "Well we're leaving in 2 days and she will be here tomorrow. You'll start recording the day after we leave." Ariana finishes as Mackenzie starts crying. "I got her."

When I get upstairs to Mackenzie's room she's squirming around in her crib. "It's ok sweetie. You're probably just hungry." I say picking her up. "Lets go make you a bottle." Downstairs in the kitchen I start making Mackenzie a bottle after putting her into her pink high chair.

"Hey." Zach says as he walks into the kitchen." "Hey." "Your doing great with her. You're going to be doing even better as the time passes." "Thanks." I say as I pick up Mackenzie and feed her the bottle. She falls asleep again and I take her up to her room to go back to sleep.
