Saving My Life

The First Day

"Girls, wake your butts up." Ariana says, jumping on my bed.

"No." I say into my pillow.

"Yes. You have an alarm for a reason. Jeez, I can't believe you didn't hear it. I should make it louder. Just get up. You have 30 minutes to get ready then 10 minutes for breakfast. Hurry. It. Up." She says, hopping off the bed to fix us breakfast.

Me and Skai get up and stretch. I go to take a shower and brush my teeth before doing my makeup and hair. I get dressed in some black and white leggings, a plain black shirt, and my black ugg boots.

Skai is dressed in some black leggings, pink shirt, and pink uggs. We go downstairs for breakfast and Ariana made us omelettes. I quickly eat my omelette and I am done with about 10 minutes to spare.

When I clean up, me and Skai go into the living room and watch TMZ. Right now there talking about me and Skai finally getting back to learning. What a coincidence. When they move on, the doorbell rings.

"She's here." Ariana says, as I turn off the TV.

"Great." I matter to Skai before getting up to 'greet' Kayla.

"Hi." She beams, hugging us both.

"Hi." I reply, putting on a fake smile.

There is 2 problems that I have with her. One, she is way to giddy and excited. Two, I just feel like she's using us to get to Ariana. I know she said she wasn't but isn't that what an 'Arianator' would do? Anything to meet her.

I push those thoughts away before leading Skai and Kayla into the mini-classroom that Ariana kept secret from us until now.

"Ok." Kayla says setting her stuff down at one of the desks and sitting down.

"Let's get started." She says, pulling stuff out of her backpack.

"Why might I ask, are we doing this on a Saturday?"

"Because I have nothing to do today. I asked Ariana and she said yes."

"Whatever." I reply, taking out my phone and getting on Snapchat while she's getting ready.

"No phones in class."

"First of all, your getting ready, second of all, this isn't class, and third of all, you're not the boss of me. You're my tutor and I can tell Ariana I don't want you anymore. I'm Taylor Grande. There's plenty of people who would want to be my tutor." I snap back.

That seems to shut her up as she finishes getting ready to start.

"Ok. We're gonna start with one and two step equations." She says, writing some on the white board.

2 Hours Later

"Ok. That's all. I'll see you on Monday."

Me and Skai hurry and get up. We run out of the room not even bothering to say goodbye to Kayla.

"How was it?" Ariana asks as we are about to walk in the kitchen.

"Eh."

"Ok. Well, I'm gonna go take care of the twins. Enjoy the rest of your day." Ariana says, as I take out some stuff for lunch.

Me and Skai eat some lunch then watch TV for a while before going to visit Peyton.
