Mashton- cuddles and first kisses

SPOILERS TO THE FAULT IN OUR STARS! DONT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK OR WATCHED THE MOVIE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Michael and Ashton have been dating for three weeks now and they've hardly even touched each other. They've only held hands once and they hugged maybe twice, they seem very awkward since they started dating. Ashton wanted to get rid of all the awkwardness between the two so he invited Michael over to watch a movie. Once he arrived Ashton told him to make himself at home and to pick a movie that he wanted to watch while Ashton went to go make popcorn. Once Ashton came back he set the bowl on the table "do you want anything to drink?" Ash asked nervously, "uh yeah...can I have a water please?" Michael asked shyly and politely. Ash nodded and went and got two bottles of water.

Ashton made his way back into the living room "here you go...have you decided on a movie?" Ash said while sitting on the couch, Michael nodded "well it's between Spider-Man and...don't make fun of me...the fault in our stars" he said while chuckling and ash smiled "I think it's cute that you wanna watch a sad love story...let's watch the fault in our stars" ash said while blushing. Michael put the movie in and pressed play and sat down on the opposite side of where Ashton was on the couch. Ashton frowned and scooted a bit closer to Michael, Ashton could tell that he was nervous because his breathing was uneven. "Mikey?" Ashton whispered and Michael looked at him, "you know I'm not going to bite, right? Ashton said cautiously Michael nodded and Ashton gave him a shy smile and moved over to cuddle the colorful haired boy.

Michael wrapped his arm around Ashton's torso and ash melted into him. Michael was still a little tense, Ashton whispered "relax...we don't have to do anything if you don't want to. We're just cuddling." Mikey nodded and relaxed a bit more. Ashton knew that Michael hasn't had his first kiss, and he didn't want to pressure him into doing things he didn't want to do. Half way through the movie Michael was silently crying and Ashton was comforting him. "It's okay Mikey, it's just a movie." Ash said soothingly and Michael whispered "I know, but it's just so beautiful. It's a wonderful love story, and I know what's going to happen next." And so did Ashton, this was the part where Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster were sitting on the park bench in Amsterdam and he was about to tell her that his cancer came back. Ashton reached up and started to play with Mikey's hair to calm him down.

Michael turned to look at Ashton and he stared deeply into his eyes. "You're pretty when you cry" Ashton whispered. Michael smiled "you're pretty all the time" he whispered. His smile soon dropped and he got really nervous all of a sudden and he started to hesitantly lean forward "it's okay if you want to Kiss me Michael." Ashton said and Michael nodded "it's just that...it would be my first kiss...I'm a little nervous and afraid that I'll do it wrong." He said and Ashton smiled "I'll lead the way" he said lovingly. Michael nodded and began leaning in again, he could feel Ashton's minty breath on his lips meaning he was close, Ashton's lip slightly brushed against Michael's lips and Mikey's breath hitched and soon their lips were attached, it was a simple passionate kiss, nothing rough and no tongue was involved. It was a perfect first kiss, just like Mikey imagined it.

When they pulled away Michael breathed out "wow" and Ashton giggled, "was it everything you thought it was going to be?" Ashton asked and Mikey nodded "even better, it was with someone I really care about." He whispered and Ashton fondly smiled and kissed his cheek and cuddled back into Michael's side to finish watching to movie. This night went better than expected. It was perfect.
