Tsuna has this weird buzzing at the back of his mind.

Small, harmless, but noisy buzzing.

It wasn't always there, only recently being a new addition inside his mind — a product of Reborn’s madness, you can even say. Still, Tsuna took this new addition very seriously;

Because it can detect a certain senior!

Whenever a scheme by a certain fox is concocted, Tsuna would immediately know! The little buzzing turned from the noise of a bumbling bee into a great nuclear-powered chainsaw rev!

With this buzzing, he had avoided many great misfortunes, being one of the few to escape the fox’s scheme almost unscathed. (Ignoring times where Reborn forced him into the schemes despite his desperate attempt to escape).

For example, when Tsuna met Longchamp Naito; His newly born but sharp intuition told him that if he stayed at the same spot, he would never be able to escape a certain fox’s scheme. So, he instinctively stood behind his senior!

As a result, the senior was suddenly shot with a bullet and temporarily died. (Wasn't Yukimura shot with the Desolation Bullet? Why did he die? Nevermind —)

Another example, when he was invited by his mom to buy cake from her favourite shop, he instinctively declined. As expected, the next day, the picture of Yukimura being arrested by Hibari was posted all over their school’s secret gossip site. In Hibari’s hand, he saw the shop’s logo on the box of cake.

And many, many, many, more examples.

Well, actually, some of these probably aren't schemes but just random misfortunes borne by Yukimura-senpai — but most of them are indeed schemes! (Tsuna nods to himself convincingly, trusting this new intuition completely with everything.)

Safe to say, such a life-saving tool, is prized highly by Tsuna.

As such, it's also safe to say that the disappearance of this life saving tool, is a very, very, very, bad instance.

“—Juudaime, are you okay?”

Gokudera’s enlarged concerned face enters his sight. Startled, Tsuna instinctively leaned back, only to hit the back of his head against concrete walls. His consequent Yelp attracted the attention of the carefree Yamamoto outside.

“Tsuna? Are you guys fine in there?” Yamamoto checked in, a knife held in his hands.

For some reason, Tsuna immediately shook his head, especially as a ray of artificial light caught onto the knife, “Nope! Haha, we're doing fine!”

“Yeah, basketball freak. Leave me and Juudaime alone,” Gokudera replies in a less than friendly way. The fuse of a bomb hidden underneath his jacket protrudes slightly from beneath.

“...” Tsuna gulped. “H-hey! Why don't we…”

“—Ah, that's right, Tsuna!” Yamamoto casually waved his hand holding the knife, nonchalantly disregarding Gokudera’s biting remark, “What kind of sushi do you think senpai would enjoy?”

Tsuna blinked.

Senpai.

Yukimura-senpai.

Struck by this sensitive topic (for the current him), Tsuna naturally paused in thought.

“Hah?” Gokudera sneered, “Leave that bastard starving.”

“Haha, you're so funny!”

“Heh.”
