Part 10

"Will you go with me to talk to Mason?" Liam asked me and I nodded because I understood how hard it is to explain all this stuff. Stiles dropped us off at school and before I left car a hugged him tightly and he gave me a thankful smile. I and Liam ran headlong seeing Mason leaving.

"Hey. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I'm late." Liam yelled after him. Mason turned and waited for us.

"Oh no, you're not late. You missed it. I worked out. For two hours." He said.

"I'm sorry Mason. It was my fault." I tried to defend Liam.

"Actually we're gonna to tell you a lot of things. A lot of hard to believe things. Really hard to believe.." Liam started.

"There's a wolf."

"Wait, he'll get to that." I said.

"No. There's a wolf right behind you." Mason said and pointed at something behind us. We both turned. Black wolf was standing there looking at us and growling. "Derek?" I whispered confused. Mason and Liam started running but I stayed at my spot and stepped closer to the wolf.

"What the hell are you doing?! Run." Liam came back and now he was pulling me towards the school. I tried to protest but he dragged me to the school and the wolf started running after us. Suddenly Liam stopped and pushed me behind his back. He roared and the wolf ran away. I ran after him but when I got out of school the wolf was nowhere to be seen. I sighed. I swear to God that was not a real wolf. It was werewolf for sure. But the only werewolf I know that could change to an actual wolf was Derek. And he is gone.

"You are a werewolf." I heard Mason talking to Liam. Liam told him everything. How Scott bit him, how he turned, he told him about Kate and the berserkers, the Benefactor... And I just sat there thinking about the wolf.

"Liam I swear to God that was not a wolf." I said finally interrupting their conversation about supernatural.

"So you're saying it was another werewolf?" Mason asked and stared at me. I nodded.

"How can you be so sure about that?" Liam asked.

"Because there's a difference between animal's mind and shapeshifter's mind. I can make connection with the mind of an animal but I couldn't with this one. That means that it was not an animal." I explained.

"Intense." Mason said and I rolled my eyes but smiled.

We were about to get out of the school when my phone went off. I answered it.

"Lydia found body." Stiles' voice came from the other line.

"Oh my God, not again. Are you going to pick me up?"

"We're on our way." He said and hung up on me.

"You guys can go. I will wait here." I said to Liam and Mason.

"Are you sure? We can wait with you. What if the wolf or werewolf or whatever it was will come back?" Liam asked concerned.

"I'm okay. Really. They are gonna be here any minute. See you tomorrow." I watched as they walked away and waved at Liam when he turned to look if I was okay one last time. I sighed as I started nervously walking around trying to catch a sound of an engine. Then I finally heard something in the distance and a while later I saw car. It stopped near me and I got into.

"Did you guys hear from Derek lately?"

"He's still working with Braeden. Why are you asking?" Scott turned in his seat and he was staring at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Oh, it's nothing. I was just curious." Who was it then? Should I tell Scott? I am 100 % positive it was werewolf. I almost forgot why I am in car with Scott and Stiles but I remembered when I saw police lights and heard ambulance siren. I saw Malia, Lydia and Kira talking with Deputy Parrish. "What happened?" I asked.

"This kid just killed his lawyer." Malia informed me.

"We don't know if he did it." Kira protested.

"Well, there wasn't anyone else in the car. And he just ran away."

"Scott is that you?" Deputy Parrish said to the transmitter. We heard crackling on the other line and then we heard Scott's voice. "Yeah, I found Donovan. He is completely freaked out. He keeps saying some name."

"What name?"

"Theo." Said Stiles and I held my breath expecting Scott to agree with him. But he didn't.

"Tracy. He keeps saying Tracy." He said instead and I frowned. I didn't know anybody named Tracy. "Tracy who?" I asked.

"Tracy Steward." Lydia said.
