Part 26

I was walking to my locker when suddenly I started to feel dizzy. I closed my eyes and I walked into somebody. Strong arms caught me.

"Hey, are you okay?" I heard and I opened my eyes seeing Theo's face. I sighed, not being able to speak. I got weak in my knees and if Theo didn't catch me I would hit the ground really hard. I grabbed his arm. Theo hissed in pain and I saw claws instead of my nails digging into his flesh.

"You need to stay away from him." I just opened the door and that was the first thing I heard. I knew her. Well, I didn't really talk to her but I knew her. She was Theo's sister.

"What are you doing here?" I asked confused. She looked freaked out. She was breathing heavily and she was looking around every few seconds as if somebody was following her.

"You need to stay away from.." She didn't finish her sentence because neighbor's dog started barking and she yelped. I had no idea why she was here. Or what happened. Why is she so freaked out? She grabbed my shoulders and I squealed. She quickly let go of me and took a step back. She held her head in her hands and started walking around on my porch.

"Coming... they're ... coming. They changed him.... Monster.... Kill... dangerous... wolf... dead... He's going to kill me." I didn't understand everything she was saying but from the words I understood I knew something is really wrong. The first thought that crossed my mind was that she is crazy. That she lost her mind. The second thought was that somebody.. or something is following her. And it wants to murder her. She was still muttering something and walking in circles, but meanwhile there was a fight in my brain. If I invite her in, I could save her life. But I could put mine in danger if she's just making this up. She could kill me. I didn't have the chance to make up my mind because she looked at me one last time. "He's gonna kill all of us." And then she ran away. I cried. I screamed at her. But she disappeared in the dark.

"Kenzie! Kenzie." I heard and when my vision became clear I saw Theo. I looked around confused. I was shaking.

"Do you hear me?" He asked and waved his hand in front of my eyes.

"I..."

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here. You are okay." He said and hugged me. When I stopped shaking I slightly pushed him away.

"I saw her." I said. I looked around once again. We were in the locker rooms.

"Who? Kenz, who did you see?"

"Your sister."

"What?"

"I saw her the night...the night when she..." I sobbed.

"When she died." Theo finished the sentence.

"I think somebody was after her. Theo I don't think she died of exposure. I think somebody killed her. She said 'They're coming'. And something about wolf. We know there are no wolves in Beacon Hills. Not real wolves."

"You think a werewolf killed her?"

"I... I don't know. The cause of death wasn't animal attack." I pointed out.

The door opened and Scott came to the locker room looking around.

"I got your text." He said when he saw Theo. Then he looked at me, picked me up and sat me on the bench. "What did you remember?"

"Nothing about the Dread Doctors." I shook my head.

Scott suddenly looked up and then down.

"I hear it too." Theo said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's coming from the basement."

"Oh, great. Nothing good happens in basement." I sighed and followed Theo and Scott out of the locker rooms.

We made it to the basement and we started looking around.

"This definitely isn't Kira." Scott pointed at the wired hanging from the ceiling.

"It's a chimera." Theo said.
