"Liam told me." I turned. Scott was standing behind me. It's been five days and this was the first time someone besides Theo talked to me. I had free period and I was sitting in library reading mythology, trying to find something more about fairies.

"Liam told you what?" I asked confused.

"What you did."

I panicked for a minute, thinking that Scott is talking about Donovan but Liam don't know about that. What is he talking about then? I looked at him still confused.

"When you saved them. Why didn't you tell me that you are getting stronger? Why didn't you tell anybody?"

"Scott, it's not really that big of a deal." I lied. The truth is that I was scared. I wasn't acting myself and even that what Theo told me about this whole Seelie and Unseelie court I still think that something bad is happening with me.

"Not that big of a deal? Kenz, when did it become so easy for you to lie to your friends? Liam told me that you wanted to kill Theo. What is happening with you? It's like we are going through this Kira thing all over again."

"I didn't want to kill him! Okay? He just scared me and I panicked a little bit." I said a little bit louder and the students sitting at the table next to us looked at me confused.

"We can't talk about this in here." I whispered and walked out of the library.

When we got out I turned to look at Scott. "I am sorry okay? I am sorry I didn't tell you. But don't you see it Scott? Don't you see what is happening? People are dying. It's more important than what is happening with me. This is my problem. You don't have to worry about it. None of you have to worry about me."

"I guess I've been a bad Alpha for the last couple of days. My asthma is back." He sighed and looked at the floor. I hugged him.

"Don't put yourself down. You are trying. You are a true alpha. I guess it's a lot of pressure. But no matter what you do as an alpha, that is not gonna change the fact that you are our friend. The best friend someone could have in their life." I smiled at him slightly when I pulled away from him.

"Thank you." He whispered. The bell rang.

"I have to go." I said. He just nodded and I walked past him. Walking through the hallways was terrible. Everyone was sad. Everyone looked depressed. As if they knew what is happening. Or more like what is going to happen. I saw Theo and I headed in his direction.

"I have free period what about you?" He asked.

"I have AP Calculus." I said annoyed.

"Okay, are we really just going to sit and not do anything?" Theo asked.

"What are we supposed to do? We know nothing." I said. I saw Liam with Hayden as they were walking to their class. They passed us not even noticing that we were standing there. I turned to look at their back disappearing in one of the classrooms.

"Okay, maybe I know something." I turned to Theo.

"What is it?" He frowned.

"Liam told us that Hayden is all good. That she healed and everything. He believes she's gonna be okay."

"So you think she's going to die?"

"No! God no.." I protested quickly. "I don't know, okay? I can't predict death, I'm not Lydia. But Hayden's aura is fading and I don't think that's a good thing."

"Did you talk to her about it?"

"I don't want to scare her. And Liam is always with her like a watchdog. What do you think he's going to do when I'm gonna tell his girlfriend that she's going to die?"

"You're right, that is probably not a great idea." Theo agreed.

"I really have to go. I'll find you after this period, okay?" I said and kissed him. Then I headed to the class.
