Part 22

I grunted angrily as my alarm went off in the morning. I opened my eyes quickly because I realized that the warmth of Theo's body is gone. I looked confused around the room thinking it was just a dream. I got out of the bed and saw Theo's jacket on the armchair. So it wasn't a dream. I got ready and grabbed Theo's jacket before I headed downstairs.

"Why was Theo Raeken sneaking out of our house early in the morning? Did you ...?" Kyla spoke immediately when she saw me.

"Oh God no, why would you ask that."

She laughed. "I didn't asked anything. Well, did you?"

"He slept over, that's all. If that's what you're asking about."

"Sure. Do you need the car or will Theo pick you up?" Kyla grinned.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm taking the car."

"And what are you going to do today?" She asked and I frowned at her. She knows I'm going to school, what is the point of asking? "I mean, besides Theo Raeken." She added and laughed.

"You are disgusting. " I grabbed the car keys and stormed out of the house.

I was walking around looking for Theo and hoping my friends won't see me with his jacket in my hands.

"Looking for something?" I heard a voice and saw Theo walking to me.

"You, actually. You forgot your jacket."

"Did you see anything weird?" Scott appeared next to us. "Hey Kenz. Wait, why do you have his jacket. Did you two...?"

"We didn't have sex, okay? Can everyone stop asking me about it? It's just a jacket!" I said a little louder then I wanted to and I earned disturbed looks from a few of freshmen.

"Um.. okay. So have you seen anything?" He asked again.

"What are we looking for exactly?"

"Anyone acting a little weird or little off." Scott specified.

"You just described most of the high school students." I said.

"Good point."

"You remember Tracy went on a killing spree after reading that?" Theo pointed on Scott's copy of Dread Doctors.

"You think it's a bad idea?" Scott asked.

"I think Malia almost getting run down by a car could've been bad. Well, that's why you guys haven't finished it, right?"

"We're going to."

"Scott, I came here hoping to find a pack. I wasn't planning on watching one fall apart."

"The book's all we've got."

"Then I'll read it too." Theo said.

"I think we all should finish the book tonight." I spoke.

OH MY LORD the 5A finale... I am honestly done. Fuck Theo.. but also fuck Theo, you feel me? And thank you guys for all the reads I appreciate it. :)
