Part 43

When I parked my car I saw Stiles nervously walking around the parking lot.

"Hey. Where is Theo?" He asked when I got out of the car. I tried to hold back the tears and focus on the power but I couldn't. I broke down with sobs and Stiles ran to me and pulled me into a hug.

"Kenz, what happened?

"He lied about everything. And you know what the worst thing is? That I still love him." I said between the sobs.

"I never lied about why I came to Beacon Hills."

We jumped a little bit and turned to look at Theo. He just got out of his car.

"I'm here for a pack." He continued and took a step towards us. "I came for the werecoyote, the one whose first instinct is to kill. I came for the Banshee, the girl surrounded by death. I came for the dark Kitsune, the Beta with anger issues, Void Stiles. I came for the Unseelie fairy, whose power is stronger than all of us. That's the pack I want! Unfortunately, it doesn't include Scott."

"You are sick in the head." I said.

"Your heartbeat's rising, Stiles. It's not because you're afraid. Nogitsune is gone, but you've still got more blood on your hands than any of us."

"Don't listen to him, Stiles."

"Oh, I'm about to get more."

"I'll tell you where your dad is, if you promise not to help Scott." Theo said and Stiles punched him. Theo laughed.

"There he is! That's Void Stiles. It felt good, didn't it?"

Stiles punched him again and this time he fell on the ground. I caught Stiles' hand that was ready to hit Theo again.

"He's not worth it." I said.

Stiles knelt and grabbed Theo by his t-shirt.

"We won't tell Scott. 'Cause you can't lose your best friend, right? Even though we all know, you never needed him. You hate me now, but you'll get it eventually. This is the hard part. 'Cause you can't help Scott and save your dad's life. You've still got time, Stiles. You've still got time." Theo said and then whispered something to Stiles. Stiles got up.

"I have to save my dad." He said and I nodded. "Go." He left and I stayed alone with Theo.

"Where is he? Where is Scott?"

"You can't save him."

"Oh, you don't know what I'm capable of."

"You would be stronger with me. We have always been a good team, remember?" He said.

I shook my head. "I won't leave Scott."

"He's probably already dead. Kenz, just imagine it. Our own pack. The things you can do now are nothing compared to what you could do if you joined me. We could take over the whole city. We could do things you've never imagined are even possible. Together."

"I am SO done with you." I simply said and got into my car.
