Part 39

"Why aren't you answering your phone?!" Stiles screamed at me when I called him. I just got back into my car after I spent the last two hours with Mason, trying to make sure he's okay. Well, as okay as someone can be in this situation. I left my phone in the car and I found 10 missed calls from Stiles.

"I was with Mason."

"Corey is dead. And there was another dead chimera in school. Lydia is with Parrish and she isn't answering my phone. And the Dread Doctors are coming for Hayden."

I groaned in frustration.

"I am sick of this, Stiles. They are killing people and we can't do anything about it! We can't save anyone!"

"We can save Hayden. Scott and Theo are on their way."

"Where are they going?" I asked and started the car. There was silence on the other line. The one thing I wouldn't expect from Stiles.

"Stiles! For your own sake, tell me where they are going!" I screamed.

I heard him sigh. "Sinema." He said moments later. "Kenz, don't.." He started, but I hung up and headed to Sinema.

I got out of car and I could already hear growling and screaming. I followed the sounds of fight. When I ran inside all I could see was Scott and Theo laying on the floor. The Dread Doctors were already gone. I exhaled as I relaxed my tensed muscles that were ready to kick some ass.

"What are you doing here?" Theo asked as I helped him got up.

"Where is Hayden?" Scott questioned as he got up. The two of them ran to the back of the club and I followed them.

"I think I'm okay." Hayden said when we found them.

"I saw the needle go in, and her eyes just filled up with mercury. They turned completely silver." Liam said.

"She looks okay. Maybe she'll heal." Theo said.

"Or maybe she won't. What if something's happening to her on the inside?" I pointed out. "Her aura is not even visible. I'm sorry." I continued.

"She's not going to die." Liam protested.

"Liam. Her aura..."

"I don't care! She's not going to die!" He screamed at me and I took a step back.

"Get them to the Animal Clinic. I'll meet you there." Scott said.

"Theo, she's dying." I whispered when we got out.

"Liam think that we can do something about it."

I shook my head and sighed.

"You think there's nothing we can do." He said.

Tears filled up my eyes as I nodded. He pulled me into a hug. "I don't want her to die. We've been through this so many times before. But that doesn't change how much it hurts, every single time. She's Liam's first love. If she dies it will leave marks on him. I've seen it before." I said as my thoughts went to Scott and Allison. It started raining.

"See you at the Animal Clinic." I said and got into my car and Theo got into his.
