Part 31

I've been out just for a couple of minutes because when I came round I was still in the car and the back of it was in flames. I started coughing and looked around. Stiles was next to me. I climbed out of the car and pulled Stiles out of there. He started coughing too.

"The body.. the body is gone." Theo appeared behind me.

"Stiles are you okay?" I asked and helped him get up.

"Fine, you?"

"Same. What about you." I turned to Theo.

"It'll heal. We should get you to the hospital. You took in a lot of smoke."

"We're fine."

"Suspect in 1-8-7 is in custody and en route to station. Suspect's name is Yukimura, Kira." We heard coming from the radio.

"What is 1-8-7?"

"Homicide." Stiles answered.

"So Liam and Hayden are gone and Kira is murder suspect? And Hayden is also a chimera." I asked.

"Yeah, basically. And Corey, another chimera is upstairs with Mason." Malia said.

"We've been gone for like two days how did all of this happen?"

Scott dashed in through the front door heading straight to the stairs.

"Is Kira okay?" Stiles asked and Scott just walked past us and went upstairs.

"Scott?"

We followed him upstairs.

"Don't get too close." Lydia said as we all entered the room.

"What is he doing?" I asked trying to get a closer look at Scott.

"Tapping into Corey's memories. It's usually something only alphas do." Lydia answered.

Theo came closer and I followed him.

"Is it as dangerous as it looks?" He asked.

"Probably more."

"Is it working?" I questioned.

Scott gasped and fell backwards. We all coughed him.

"Yes, it is working would be enough, but okay." I muttered.

"Is he okay?"

"What the hell did you do to me?" Corey shouted.

"You'll be all right." Scott said still catching his breath.

"There's blood." Corey said.

"You'll heal."

"Scott..."

"He'll be fine!" Scott yelled. "Listen.. I think it worked. I saw something." He grabbed a notepad and started sketching something. "There were tunnels. Pipes along the walls. There were these huge blue pipes at the entrance. Two on both sides."

"Wait a second. I know this. I've seen this before." Stiles said. "That's one of the tunnels I used to skateboard in. Remember my dad coughed me one time and told me to never go back?"

"It's the water treatment plant." Lydia said.

"That's where they are. That's where we'll find Liam and Hayden."

Scott ran out of the room and down the stairs and we all followed him.

"Scott.. Scott, slow down. Just think for a second okay?" Stiles tried to stop him. "Mason shouldn't be going."

"Liam's my best friend." Mason said. "I'm going."

"Oh, did you suddenly get super wolf powers? I wasn't aware of that development." Stiles said.

"Well, if you're not going, I could use the help."

"No, I'm coming just as soon as I talk to my dad. They're moving the body and he wants to make sure that this time no one steals it."

"How's he gonna do that?" Malia asked.

"I don't know. But whoever took the last one was strong enough to flip my Jeep."

"We can bring Theo and Kenz." Malia pointed at us.

"Maybe we better stay here. In case the Doctors decide to make a house call for Corey." Theo said. I nodded. "Scott. We need to slow down and think."

"I am thinking... about how Liam and Hayden could already be dead."

"You could've hurt him, Scott. Really hurt him" Lydia argued.

"I have to find Liam." Scott said and rushed out of the house, Mason and Malia following him.

"Hey, text me. For anything." Stiles called after Malia.

"I got it."

"Anything at all, okay?"
