"I still hate you. Just to let you know." I said when I got into Theo's car.

"Good to know." He said when he started the car and we moved. "They were in your house."

"Oh, you think they just left Kyla there? So they just casually helped her get back from work?" I said sarcastically, but Theo was serious which scared me even more.

Theo looked at me. "I need you to be ready for everything. I mean, everything."

I frowned. "Do you know something more? You need to tell me."

"I think they left a message."

"What are you talking about Theo? What.. what message?" He didn't answer and the closer we were to my house the bad feeling inside me was growing. When he parked the car in front of my house I was filled with fear.

"Something is wrong. Very, very wrong." I said. The house looked different, it looked dark, filled with shadows.

They didn't leave a message. They left a warning. I ran to the front door. I didn't notice I am shaking until I tried to unlock the front door. Theo took the key out of my hand and unlocked the door for me. I looked up at him. His face was filled with fear. What is he scared of? What is hiding behind the door or that I am going to find out what is inside? I walked into the house where I grew up. Where Kyla took care of me. I knew what happened and I didn't need a proof. I felt it. I walked into living room. It was dark, the sun was going down. I walked around the couch because I knew something is behind it. At first I didn't know what I was looking at or I just didn't want to accept what I was looking at. Kyla's body was on the floor, motionless. I didn't say anything, I just knelt beside her and pulled her head into my lap. I understood without thinking. There was mercury around her mouth and on her clothes. I wasn't crying. The heartache I was experiencing was too strong to express through crying or screaming. I just sat there, stroking Kyla's hair and waiting for her to move, waiting for her to shout it's just prank and laugh how she scared me. But I was waiting for something that was impossible.

"Kenzie." I heard Theo's voice behind me. I completely forgot he came in with me.

"You said she's okay." I muttered.

"You don't know the things I know. I did this for you."

"For me?! My sister is dead! She's dead!" I stood up and pushed him. He didn't even move, but pushing him and hitting him gave me some sort of satisfaction. "I don't know the things you know? So tell me!" I was about to push him again, but he grabbed my arms, he took a step closer. We were so close I heard his heart beating. I tried to step back, but he pulled me closer again.

"They would kill you." He hissed. "You were a threat, they felt your power. Your kind radiates something. We all felt your power."

"My friends didn't feel anything."

"Oh they did. Malia knew. She didn't tell anybody because you didn't tell anybody about the desert wolf. Believe me or not, we are all on the same side. You were all a threat, Kira left the town, Malia was looking for her mother, Liam was too blinded by love. That left us with Stiles, Scott, Lydia and you."

"Stiles is trying to save his dad, Lydia is in the Eichen house, Scott is.. dead, and me.."

"You noticed that you are not as powerful as you were before, right? I poisoned you with mercury."

"You what??" I finally freed my hand from his grip. I stepped back.

"I swear that it sounds worse that it really is. It's not permanent. Your powers will eventually come back."
