A little Time

Draco couldn't believe that he promised Sky he wouldn't question why she couldn't tell him or what the hell she is doing. He was mental. Bloody mental for even agreeing to something like that when she's going to continue to distance herself from everyone.

He kept pacing back and forth in Blaise's room at the manor, trying to figure out what Sky could even be doing and why he can't interfere with it. The way he kept pacing was driving Blaise insane.

"Mate, if you keep pacing, I won't have a floor anymore. What is going on with you?" Blaise asks Draco, clearly confused as Draco hasn't said a word since showing up after talking to Sky.

He stopped in his tracks, turning to face Blaise with a look of disbelief on his face, "seriously Blaise?"

"Malfoy, how the hell am I supposed to know if you don't say anything?"

Draco scoffs, "she made me promise I wouldn't ask questions or interfere with why she's been distancing herself from everyone. And I did it. I fucking promised her I wouldn't ask or interfere. What the hell is wrong with me?! Why would I do that?!"

Blaise looked at Draco even more confused than before. What did he mean that Draco promised not to ask questions or interfere. This wasn't the Draco Malfoy that Blaise had known his whole life practically.

The Draco Malfoy that Blaise has known his whole life was someone who never promised to not ask questions or interfere in something that could potentially be dangerous. Especially when it involved Skyra Parkinson. Blaise wondered what Sky was doing that she would have to make Draco promise something so damn irrational like not asking questions for starters or getting involved and interfering.

Sky met with Mattheo at Riddle Manor so they could talk freely without anyone hearing the conversation.

Mattheo glanced over at Sky who looked incredibly guilty sitting there on the couch. "What's going on with you?"

"I hate lying to him and telling him to not ask questions with something that he should definitely be asking questions about."

"You can't mentally beat yourself up about this. You know what you're doing is the right thing. Not only to protect you, but to protect Pansy, your mum, me, and Draco. Your father has to be stopped and you're the only person who knows how to stop him," Mattheo reminded her why she was doing it.

Sky sighed knowing that Mattheo was right. She is the only person who can stop her father and end this once and for all. Mattheo and Draco were just innocent in the whole matter. Sky, Pansy and their mum; those are the real victims in this. She couldn't help but get more agitated knowing that she's protecting everyone she loves, but she's also lying to the one person she loves and trusts more than anything in this world.

No matter how much she tries to clear her head of guilt and remind herself that this is what has to happen, the guilt takes over. She can't stop imagining the look on her mum and sister's faces when they get the news that she died. The look on all of her friends' faces. But most importantly, the look on Draco's face. The pain, heartbreak, anger, confusion. Knowing that he will blame himself for not protecting her. Questioning what he could've done differently to make sure nothing happened to her. Sky knew she would have to have Mattheo watch Draco closely. He would break.

"Matt, you have to watch him. He's going to crumble. My mum and sister will take it hard, but Draco– he's going to break. I need you to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. Please," she pleaded with everything she has.

Mattheo placed his hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eyes, "I promise you, I will not let him do anything stupid or to jeopardize his life. You just need to come back to him. You need to finish this mission before he truly loses it and you know him better than anyone." He looked at her, his expression sympathetic and calm, "it won't take him long to spiral and go mental."

Sky nodded knowing it was the truth, Draco would spiral in less than four months and she knew it would be bad. She knew that she had to stop pulling away so much, but she knew that it would just make everything hurt more when the time came to die.

"I have to go to him. I need to make the time I have with him worth all of this. I need him to know I love him," Sky mumbles to Mattheo, trying to make the situation better.

Mattheo shook his head, "go to him and make it count."

Sky got up and nodded to Mattheo and apparated back to Malfoy Manor where she's met by Narcissa who knew where she was. "Where's Draco?"

"Upstairs, darling," Narcissa replied with a smile.

Sky went upstairs and before she went into Draco's room, she overheard his voice in Blaise's room.

"Blaise, I love her more than anything and I can't lose her. I was so fucking stupid to ever think she would cheat."

"Mate, we all do stupid shit. One time I suggested that Luna find someone who isn't so damn dark natured and can give her everything her big, unique heart deserved. She, for the first time ever, slapped someone- me."

Draco laughed so hard he let out a small snort, "Luna, my sweet, quiet and weird cousin slapped you?"

"Yeah, and told me if I ever said something dumb and ignorant again she would personally ask you or your father to teach her to hex someone."

Once again Draco snorted, but louder this time. He couldn't imagine his cousin slapping nor hexing someone. Mainly Blaise bloody Zabini. "I'd happily teach her, just so I could get a front row seat to that. But, how the hell do I fix this, Blaise? I love Sky. I marked her, so no one could touch her like I do. I want to spend my life with her, but I think I fucked up so bad that there may not be any coming back from this."

"Dude stop. She loves you– wait. You marked her?! How the hell did you do that? Does she know? She must not, because you're still alive."

Sky could hear the sigh coming from Draco, "yes, I marked her. Yes, she knows. She marked me too and damn do I find it hot as hell."

Blaise chuckled at the thought of Draco finding it hot that Sky marked him. "Mate, you and her have some weird and kinky ass relationship, I swear."

"Draco, are you up here?" She called out hoping not to give it away that she had heard the conversation between him and Blaise.

Draco opened Blaise's door, "I'm right here. Are you okay, sweetheart?"

She walked over to Draco and without a word said, she smashed her lips against his. He was shocked but let himself melt into the kiss. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer. His teeth dug into her bottom lip, wanting access to her mouth.

"Can you two disgustingly sweet freaks take this to your room before I have Narcissa burn this room and build me a new one?" Blaise said with a mockingly grossed out tone.

Draco flipped him off as he started leading Sky to their room, without breaking their kiss. He pushed their bedroom door open and then kicked it shut, pushing her against the wall. His hands sliding down her side and behind the back of her thighs picking her up, making her wrap her legs around his waist.

He started kissing her. "Merlin, you're so fucking beautiful like this, sweetheart. So sweet. So mine in every way. Every. Single. Part and inch of you." He started kissing her neck again and murmured against her skin, "mine."

"Draco," she let out a low moan as she said it as he continued his ministrations against her neck and collarbone, She could feel herself and him wanting more than this. "More. Please"

Their heavy breathing, he pulls back, a smirk tugging across his face with the words escaping her lips, but he knew he wasn't going to give her what she wanted that easily; even if he wanted to. "No, not just yet, princess."

Draco kisses her passionately, eventually breaking the kiss, starting to nip at her earlobe, her jawline and down her neck, finding her sweet spots on her neck making her that she moaned for him. He wanted to show her how much he loves and adores her.

For just a little while, Sky had forgotten everything that was going on. The plan completely faded in the back of her memory as if it was the last thing she wanted to think about. All she cared about right now was the feeling of Draco's lips on her skin; the feeling of completely melting and coming undone, for him. If this was one of the last times for the foreseeable future that they had like this, she was going to cherish every moment he touched her, whispered sinful thoughts into her ear and on her skin.
