My loves, I have no excuse for abandoning this story for so long other than life is good and very busy. I decided to split what I'd planned for this chapter into two parts so I could get something out to you guys sooner.

In the aftermath of my abduction, I'd quite frankly forgotten about the bitchy pipsqueak who thought he could steal my mate. I finally remembered to ask Morgan, and was delighted to hear Beau had been escorted back to his parents' Pack with an official message from Cyrus to Earl and Leo declaring that their son had made a scene in public and shown great disrespect to me, the future Luna of Nightshade, and was to refrain from visiting until further notice. Not going to lie, that boosted my ego quite a bit in light of how Beau treated me in the past.

I asked Cyrus about it later on, and he said he was done adhering to his father's ideas about how the Pack should be run now that he was assured his warriors were loyal. The few that weren't were banished for conspiring with Alaric. The council approved his decisions, reasoning that Cyrus shouldn't be held to the standards of a man who'd broken Pack law by endangering an omega, no matter how much status Alaric previously possessed. He also said I shouldn't worry over any potential fallout in our alliance with Beau's pack, as Earl is an otherwise benevolent alpha and sent formal apologies for his son's behavior.

Cyrus also might've admitted he's glad everyone officially knows I belong to him. I told him I liked the sound of that, but only if everyone also got it through their heads that he's my alpha, and mine alone. Can you blame me? He's a catch.

The conversation had ended in a long, hot and heavy make out session, panted "mines" between kisses that nearly had both of us coming in our pants. But frustratingly, we didn't go any further than that. Nor have we any of the other times we've gotten.. passionate. Which leads me to my current predicament.

I sigh for what feels like the fiftieth time as I sit at a table in the Pack House common room with Morgan, cutting out crafts he's going to use for school on Monday.

He slams his scissors down. "Alright. Out with it. What's up with you?"

I continue cutting, avoiding his gaze. "Oh, nothing,"

"Doesn't sound like nothing,"

I sigh again, restlessly shaking my knee under the table. It's almost unbearable, how I'm feeling. But I can't get myself to admit it out loud.

I'm not used to voicing things that I want because one, in the past no one would ever think of giving me what I wanted, and two, my role was to be wanted, not to want for myself. It's hard to reconcile the omega I am now with the one I once was, denied basic rights and comfort.

But I'm at my wits end here.

"Koa," Morgan urges sternly, speaking to me like I'm one of the pups he teaches.

I run my hands through my curls with a sigh. "I don't—it's not something I can just say,"

"And why not?"

"Because it isn't... appropriate," my cheeks flame.

He raises an unimpressed brow at me. "Wasn't it just the other day I told you how Xavier bent me over the counter and ate me out until I was scream—"

"Morgan.!" I gawk at him, looking around to see if anyone heard us—something I've done too many times to count. The blond just cackles, obviously getting a kick from my reaction.

"I'm just saying, there's no need to be shy with me,"

I shake my head in disbelief, wondering how he can be so open about these things. I'm not used to banter between omegas or even betas about bedroom matters; it was always the alphas that got to say the dirty stuff in the Blood Pack, and we just learned to keep our heads down and stay quiet, hoping we weren't the subject of their conversation.
