Icy water flushed down on him, and he was half awake half felt like he was dreaming. A sharp pressure came down on his throat, it was like an instant flashback, plus he knew that cologne anywhere. Nautica. Christian. Isaac started to faught to get out of his grasp and scratch at his big bulky forearms as they dug into his neck. First he stole his girl and now he was trying to drown him?
"Come on, Dude stop fighting it."
He looked down and noticed his dress clothes from last night sticking to him. There was that that made it look less like a prison movie...but not much. He screamed.
"Shhh! Shhh!" Christian said rubbing his fingers in his hair like some deranged psychopathic killer, "Just calm down.
"What the hell are you doing?" Isaac said hoarsely.
Christian turned off the cold water, "Waking you up, you have a championship game this afternoon. You may have let everyone else down, but I'll be damned if you let those kids down." He tossed a big dry towel at him, "I'll see you in the kitchen." He said and turned and left.
Great! More torture. He noticed a gray American Eagle T-shirt, his blue sweats, and blue and white running shoes sitting on the counter. Not his coaching gear but whatever. His head throbbed, his entire body throbbed and every part of him wanted to lay back down, but he was afraid of what Christian was going to do, and as screwed up as it all was he was right, his life might have been in the shitter, but those kids needed him. Hangover or not he owed it to them. It wasn't their fault he was dealing with personal issues.
He stepped out of the bathroom not smelling bacon or eggs cooking, and halfway wondering why he was even expecting it. He also noticed that it was barely light outside. Then he heard the whisking sound coming from the kitchen and went toward that direction. Christian's large figure strolled into the dining room carrying a juice glass that almost looked like orange juice but as he whipped it with a fork, it seemed a little thicker.
He set the cup on the table in front of Isaac, grabbed his and, slid a small pill in his hand, and slid the glass in his direction. "Drink it he bid."
"No." Isaac crossed his arms trying Christian.
"It will help with the hang over, Isaac. Drink it so we can go."
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm not drinking anything."
Christian's eyebrows fell as he started closer. "What did you say?"
"We're not kids anymore." He was going to repeat himself but Isaac was suddenly in a half nelson before he knew what happen.
"So grow the fuck up, drink your damn breakfast and let's go. I'm not going to tell you again."
Isaac continued to fight him. "No." He growled. He bent his knees as started to try and maneuver himself out of the move, but Christian held on tighter, until a twist in Isaac's double jointed arm and he was out and was halfway across the living room when Christian tackled him. If Isaac made it to his game he would be two times for sore.
Isaac's face was pushed into his rug as he fought against Christian. He hated that his brother still had the upper hand with him. As if he needed another thing still thrown in his face. "I hate you!" He growled.
In a move Christian lifted him off the floor and practically dragged him over to his dining room table and sitting him down. The drink sloshed in the drink with his force.
"Drink it." He jabbed his finger at it.
Isaac clenched his teeth, knowing his brother had him on strength and there was no getting out of it, and since his head was starting to throb more. He clutched his fingers around the glass still miraculously holding the pill in his palm. He took a small swig of the mystery juice and gagged at the taste but Christian held the end of the glass up forcing him to swallow the thick spicy tangy bland concoction or be drowned in it. Isaac preferred the latter, but didn't have the energy. Christian slammed the empty glass from the table snatched the pill from Isaac's palm slipping it between his tight lips and held the top of Isaac's head and under his chin so everything went down with a hard ugly swallow.
