She slept so peacefully on his chest. He could almost detect a smile on her fluffy lips. All was right in the world again. He smiled.

The rest of the day had been magical. They were like any other newly married couple. They'd been swimming at the beach, they had even strolled around town shopping and seeing sights, making memories. Playing the part, that suddenly became effortless...here. They had even came back and made love like a newly married couple. Even though it wasn't a part of the "act" that was just the fact that their bodies seemed to crave each others on another level. He was content.

And yet he couldn't figure out why his mind kept drifting to the conversation with his father earlier.

The phone rang in the middle of his jog, he noticed 'Dad' flash across his cellphone screen. He almost didn't want to answer. but being that he could have died in a plane crash he decided to answer.

"What's up. Dad. How's married life treating you." Hopefully better than his fake married life, but maybe it was just the same since he was calling him.

"Isaac, where are you?"

He chewed his bottom lip, "I just decided to leave, Dad."

"After, Melanie." He said knowingly.

"Yeah, well, I just figured it wouldn't be much of a vacation without her. I thought I could convince her to stay."

"Isaac, it's called stalking."

"Dad, it's not stalking. I know Melanie. I was just following her."

"That's stalking Isaac."

"So what is leaving anonymous letters in a person's mailbox saying that you're watching them."

"Isaac!"

"Hey you have your big romantic gestures I have mine."

"Okay, Isaac." He breathed, "Fair enough. I just called a friend of mine. He is the head coach of a minor league team out in Florida. He is looking for a short stop."

"So."

"It's a nice gig. You'll travel doing what you love."

"Are you bribing me?"

"No, Isaac. I am trying to show you there is more to life, than Vincentville, and there are more fish in the sea."

"I don't give a damn about the sea, Dad!" He growled.

"Isaac, just come back we'll talk about this."

"There is nothing to talk about." He snapped, "Enjoy your honeymoon. Oh and speaking of fish in the sea." He launched the phone over the rail into a huge mass of ocean." Cellphones weren't good to bring on honeymoons anyway.

A soft moan from her lips let him know that she was awake.

"What time is it?"

He smiled, "There is no such thing as time when you're honeymooning."

She rolled her eyes lightly smacking his chest.

His fingers traced the soft curved of her back as he laughed.

Suddenly the smile fell and he had to caress her cheek guiding her face back to his. "What's wrong, Mel?"

"We should probably think about about heading back in the morning, Isaac. This was fun, but we have to get back to our lives."

"I've got all spring break." I pointed out, "Do you have anywhere to be?"

She shook her head. "I don't even have a job to go back to."
