Abe finished his normal nightly regimen with the kids. He'd almost wanted to laugh at himself at how domesticated he had become over the last year and a half. He was a better father, he just hoped that she would be a better husband. It was just tonight, Abe thought enough was enough.
He looked a her closed door a moment longer when his sweaty hands reached for the door. When he opened it mist from the shower still filled the air and her delicious scent teased his nose, taunting him. That's when he saw her strolling up to him. The gold thin gown complemented her bronze skin perfectly, everything in him wanted remove it slowly off her soft glowing skin.
Her arms laced around his neck and her glittering eyes met his. His hands curved around her back on their own, and his lips found hers, the electricity bringing his tongue to life dipping wonderfully in her mouth causing him to tight his embrace and deepen the kiss. The moan she let out didn't help matters either. He hardly realized that she was leading him to the bed.
He pressed his head to head trying to focus.
"What's wrong baby?" Her eyes filled with concern and a hint of rejection. He second guessed what he was about to do.
His eyes closed and he pushed his lips together, "I'm going home Valerie."
She looked at him like he was crazy, maybe he was, this beautiful woman wanted him. Desire filled her eyes and he noticed her erect breast from the silk gown still leaning into him. "Why? I wore my new nightie."
He gave her figure a glance trying to appreciate it enough to not back out of what he was about to do. "It's beautiful babe, but I need to go."
"Did I do something?" Her eyes searched his.
He cradled her cheeks. Mistake. Brushing his thumbs against her warm cheeks only invited more kisses. The next thing he knew his mouth was teasing the strap on the little sexy number and it threatened to fall. He slid his lip in his mouth and bit down hard.
Her hand slid over the bulge in his pants causing a grunt to escape his lips. "Why don't you let me take down that tent." She cooed.
Abe bit his lips again and shook his head."I can't Val."
Abe hated that suspicious disappointment. God only knew what was going through her head.
"Abe talk to me baby." She reached for his hands.
He let out a breath tempted to sit on the bed, but afraid that would back him in a corner. Instead, he held her shoulders gently. "I want to wake up with you in my arms, Valerie. I want you in my bed. Melanie and Dee are here if the kids need anything"
Her eyes fell sadly, "They could wake up and see that I'm not in my room."
"Val, we could make love here, but our clothes on and cuddle till morning. I could get pajamas to where here, Val." He hadn't worn pajama's since he was a kid, but he was willing to compromise for her, and their family.
"Abe," She tugged a piece of hair behind her ear, "I don't want to give the children the wrong idea."
He cradled her face again guiding her eyes into his, "They could know that Uncle Abe loves their mother very much, and loves to spend every free moment with her. You don't have to be perfect Val. Love is what's important."
"Why don't we talk about this after." Her low eyes found his. Valerie, I've never asked for anything.
Abe's head fell, and the slowly came back up, "Good night Valerie." He kissed her lips softly.
"Abe."
He walked toward the door feeling the cold of losing her embrace. He needed to do this. Every step away from her was difficult, and he was surprise she didn't follow, but he knew that as spontaneous as she was in the bedroom, she was too big a prude to come out in the sexy little number she put on for him. He question his sanity a few times as he walked. He wasn't sure what she was thinking, actually he was almost positive knowing his Valerie she was second and third guessing herself and their relationship. Thinking that he was preparing to leave, he didn't want to hurt her, but enough was enough. He was going to make it up to her, but now he had to get his point across.
