Seeing Melanie walk around the baseball diamond, Issac just had to step back. He had been to her stage shows and couldn't have been more proud of her, but this was different, and it would be more different when she saw him coaching.
He could see her wearing a spartan's jersey and a baseball hat and running into an arms after a win. He saw himself proposing too her on the pitchers mound...
"Shags??" Melanie waved her hand in front of his face snapping him back into reality.
He blinked. "Huh?"
She giggled.
He slid his arms around her waist. Her laughter was his favorite sound. It was better than the cheering of the crowd, better than the excited kids. He nuzzled into her neck.
She giggled again, but this time she tried to pull away, but he wasn't ready to let her go.
"What are you doing, Shaggs?"
"Savoring you." He admitted, "You always seem to be trying to get away from me."
She looked at him her eyes big, "Maybe you hold me to tight Shaggy."
He cradled her cheek, "I can't help it." He murmured, "You're the only woman I've ever loved."
She rolled her eyes and pulled away.
"What? It's true."
"What about Rachael?"
He blew out a breath. This again. He thought. "Mel, you know what you mean to me. You know I tried to move on. Can we just drop it."
He pulled her into his chest, "I'm in love with you. I have been since I was ten."
"You were just a baby, you didn't know what love was Shaggs."
"I knew what I felt." He murmured. He leaned in slowly, "You owe me this, Mel." His lips caressed hers. His tongue slid tasting her delicious mouth.
She surrendered. She owed him, he was right. But when did he become so good at kissing. His tongue was firm and yet gentle his hands ignited her body with every electric touch His fingers danced around her pant line.
Her fingers slid under his shirt feeling the hard ripples of his body. He wasn't the little boy she grew up with, but as his kisses lowered now the column of her neck and he moaned how much he cared about her, she had to admit she he was hot and she wanted him. She even considered being with him on the baseball diamond.
"Shaggs." She whimpered.
"Yes, baby?" He said with his lips against her breast and his fingers venturing under her bra.
She gasped, "Do you have the keys to a utility closet or something?"
He pulled away and looked at her like she was radioactive and glowing orange. Suddenly, what she said, set in. She covered her face. "Shit. I'm sorry."
He pulled her hands away. "You don't have to be sorry." He said.
"I feel like such a freaky whore."
He smiled revealing the soft dimple on his cheek. "You're not a whore, Mel. I want it too. I think about that all the time."
She searched his glittery blue eyes. "Yeah?"
He let out a breathy chuckle, "Of course." He drew his lips to hers.
"How long has it been?" She said.
He pulled back, "A while."
"How long is a while?"
"Like, since Rachael."He slid his hands around her waist and pulling her into him. He hated bringing her up, especially at a time like now. He wanted to ride her back home on his bike, carry her her to his room and make love to her slowly.
"I haven't since, Mike."
He looked at her curious as to where this was going.
She rubbed against his chest, "Shaggs, we were going to do it anyway. You want it, I want it."
As much as making love to her was everything, he didn't understand why it sounded like she was closing a business deal, and not making love to the man that had doted on her since she was nine. But her chocolate eyes glittered into his, and every part of his manhood reacted.
Her lips pressed against his, "I mean, you want me," She kissed him again on the lips, "I want you. Why not? We were going to do it anyway." She said, "We're both adults."
He swallowed thickly. He a hard as he was thinking about having her in his bed, his mind flooded with reason he shouldn't. He didn't have any condoms, because he didn't have a sex life. She was offering sex. Sex was good, but he wanted more. Her lips trailed down his neck making his hair stand on end.
He took her by the hand. Peddling a bike with an erection wasn't his easiest feat but somehow he made it home with out damaging his family jewels forever.
"I'll meet you tonight." He kissed her and watched her climb off his bike and walk to her house.
He wanted to give her time to think about what she was saying, and he needed time to prepare for it. He rode over to his dad's house
"I need a condom." Christian looked at him like he had scorpions coming out of his ears, "I may need a few...:
Christian's eyebrow arced. Suddenly, Issac felt like an idiot for knocking on Christian's bedroom door. He should have just stole it like he did when she asked him the first time. It was better than going to JoAnns.
Christian walked into his room, came back with a big box of condoms and handed them to him casually.
"Have fun stallion."
His eyes narrowed as Issac breathed heavily, He felt the beads of sweat dripping down his face.
"Are you okay."
"Mel wants to have sex with me."
Christian looked around curiously. "Oookay."
"No strings attached."
His lip twitched, "She wants to be your friend with benefits."
"I can't feel my legs."
My eyebrows stretched upward, "I can imagine. Just a warning. It never works when there are feelings involved."
"So what? I just tell her no?"
"You tell her what ever you want. That's your sex life." The door closed. Isaac wanted t o confide in his brother more, but his brain was swimming.
He went back home, and took a shower. It was possible that she would change her mind like she did in the tent. It was possible they would make love and she would realize how much she wanted to be with him. He hoped for that.
He's dreamed about his first time with Melanie for years. Now it was happening and he wanted...no needed it to be perfect. The thought excited and terrified him. He felt sick, but he felt excited.
He wondered if he had time to get some wine. It was more for himself. He needed to take the edge off. He kept hearing the guys tease him in high school about why he hadn't sealed the deal with Mel. He didn't want this to be about that.
He didn't want a repeat of the tent either. They were adults. He told himself. He just hoped Christian was wrong.
