This is so true! It seems like the main character always goes through things you wish you could go through. Well, you know what? It's unlikely you'll ever meet (celebrity name here) and become his girlfriend, so keep on dreaming.

What people put as "romance" is actually just a relationship built on sexual attraction. Those relationships are the ones that are most likely to fail, compared to ones that are built on personality comparisons and stuff. - DistantEcho

Because the author HAS to tie up the story with "360 million years later" and have a million kids because apparently, none of them have heard of over-population. And of the a million kids, the male's reproduction system was like, "Okay, half of our children will be boys and the other half female."
And if there is four children, then the egg is like, "Alrighty, split that stuff" because the MCs don't plan on have anymore children. - DistantEcho
