I am heartbroken. My thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of the victims of the shooting in Orlando. It shouldn't matter if they were part of LGBTQ community, we should respect all people. We should condemn violence towards all people. After all, are we not human? They are as well. It is not okay to harm somebody because of their religion or faith or who they love. Apparently he stood outside the venue and said "Allahu Akbar" to appease Allah (swt) but Islam does not teach us to kill, rather, the religion is a religion of peace.
Also, R.I.P Christina Grimmie, my heart goes out to her family and also to those affected by the violence in New Mexico.
However, I am also heartbroken because of what happened in Lebanon and Syria. The two events barely got any media coverage because "things like that happen all the time in those countries" but it should have. Lives are lost either way, shouldn't we be aware of it?
:(
One year layer, my heart goes out to those who have lost a loved one in the Las Vegas, Egypt, Manhattan, and Texas attacks.
