Just today, somebody jumped down my throat for saying that we need more diversity in books. WELL, EXCUSE ME, MR. HIGH AND MIGHTY, BUT I GREW UP WANTING TO BE WHITE BECAUSE MY CULTURE WAS NEVER REPRESENTED- FROM A SINGLE ACTION FIGURE TO CHARACTERS IN BOOKS- THERE WAS NOBODY LIKE ME AND I'D LIKE TO SEE THINGS REPRESENTED. Plus, I never said he needed to judge my opinion. My opinion is my opinion, only there for purposes known to me. If that's your opinion, then whatever, go with it. I'm not going to jud- okay, you're right, I will judge, but silently, in my head.

AND THEN YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID?

Well, first... let's go to what I said. I just said that I didn't want every MC to be a freaking Mary Sue and not be so damn unique or so damn perfect or whatever.

AND OF COURSE THIS GUY WAS LIKE "WELL, NOT EVEN GIRLS LIKE TO READ STORIES ABOUT FAT GIRLS, SO WHY WOULD BOYS?"

You know what?

I'm just going to shut up. -.- >.< -.-

Things like this make me lose faith in humanity.

Well, let's leave all that behind and

Anyway, as all of you know, it is 2016 and I figured that since a new year has come, there are things we should think about- things that were maybe thought of controversial or weird in the years past, and yes, I'm not only talking about Wattpad, I'm talking about the human population in general:

OCD: It's not a word just to describe over-organizing things, it's an actual mental illness, and I know a lot of people just say it like "omg! I have OCD!" and don't realize that it's an actual thing that has so much influence on mentality and things like that. We should also be aware that OCD and OCPD are two different things.

Mental health: We should be more open to talk about things like this. Why? Because it could really help someone. I think a reason for people not being so open is because they think they need to deal with it themselves- but that's not true!

Bipolar: This is another mental illness, it's not a way to describe mood swings.

Schizophrenia: It's another mental disorder- not a way to describe not being able to make up your mind.

And... other words.

On Wattpad:

Orbs: Please... let's just... please

Lakes: What even?

Depression: Why do you not understand what that is? In fact, lets just take every mental health/physical health/disease/cancerous thing and add that to this list. WHY DOES EVERYTHING GET ROMANTICIZED? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. ILLNESS IS AN ILLNESS, DISEASE IS A DISEASE, AND CANCER IS CANCER, IT DOESN'T JUST GO AWAY IF YOUR 'OH SO LOVELY' BOYFRIEND HUGGED YOU, IT DOESN'T! even pills and treatment don't always work out... |:

Whatever, let's get on with this thing /:

I hate when people assume that if you're too young to know what a mental illness is, you can't have it. Excuse me? No one is too young to be insecure, it can hit at any age, and I'm tired of people (on Wattpad or just out in the big world) who treat people (especially children) with an insecurity like a joke.

I also hate it so much when people assume you can't have mental health issues if you're of a certain race or religion. "You can't be depressed if you're Muslim" Well, where in the world did that come from?

I also hate it when people think they need to tell me that 'Indian' thing or whatever because I'm Indian.

"HEY GRANNY! GUESS WHAT? I HAD MY FIRST CHICKEN BIRYANI TWO DAYS AGO!"

Whoop-dee-doo, what do you want? Applause?

Caution: Very sarcastic applaud up ahead.

*applauds*

OH, AND ANOTHER THING I ABSOLUTELY HATE- PEOPLE WHO EXPECT ME TO LIKE READ THEIR STORIES AND STUFF IF I FOLLOW THEM OR IF THEY FOLLOW ME, THEY EXPECT ME TO FOLLOW THEM BACK AND READ ALL THEIR STUFF.

Like, how about... no?

And I'm not trying to be mean because I usually do follow people for a reason- either they're a friend of mine, or I like their graphic designs, or I read their book, or it was as a sort of payment or something, but I never expect them to read MY stuff unless they really want to. But then some random person starts messaging me and writing on my profile and stuff.

NO. STOP.

BAE

WHAT THE FLYING PIGS DOES THAT WORD EVEN MEAN?

Apparently it means 'Before Anything Else' and it is the Danish word for 'poop'.

BUT PEOPLE STILL USE IT TO DESCRIBE THEIR BABY OR HONEY OR WHATEVER.

The boys of wattpad are seemingly not here but I know they exist because I know they are there. Yes, I know a huge population of Wattpad are teenage girls who, for the life of them, can not create a realistic enough male character.

Name: Jackky Jackson James Mc Fin the Fourth

HE IS ITALIAN AND HAS A 36 PACK AND IS BEAUTIFUL! HE IS TAN AND HE HAS NECK MUSCLES TOO AND HE EVEN HAS BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN AND BLUE ORBS AND SANDY BLONDE HAIR THAT IS SOOOOOO HANDSOME ON HIM OR WHATEVER

Anyways, I've been so random throughout this chapter- seriously.

SO, LET US GET MORE RANDOM!

When somebody asks  people private questions.

For example: Are you on your period?

Ew. No, if I had to tell anyone, it definitely wouldn't be you.

When a character on Wattpad (or just some random guy) is like why do all girls make periods such a big deal? I mean- I bet it doesn't hurt as much as getting kicked in the you-know-where...

Excuse me?

THE END.
