Y/n POV

I sat at the large dinner table in the outside area of the restaurant. Breathing in the fresh air around me, with the smell of burgers and fries surrounding us. I smiled to myself. I loved being invited to go to Disneyland with Eddie's family. They were always so kind and invited me along on vacations with them. Eddie and I were just friends, nothing crazy or anything, this last year though we had gotten closer. Hence him holding my hand.

"Steve! So great to see you again." I starred down at my plate, frozen. I looked up and saw he was sat right across from me at the other end of the table. Our eyes met, his trailed down to the hand that was held in mine. His eyes met mine again, obviously angry and I glared back.

"I have to use the restroom, I'll be back." I told Eddie as I got up and walked inside the building. I knew Steve got up after me, I could feel him walking behind me. I walked past the bathroom to the front of the building and stopped at the benches. I turned around and found Steve already behind me.

"So you and Eddie huh?" I shook my head with an angry smile.

"You can't be angry with me, we had a fling."

"A fling? That's not what that was."

"You live in California, I live in Indiana. It wasn't going to work."

"Okay Y/n. Let's do it this way then."

I loved being invited to go to Disneyland with Eddie's family. They were always so kind and invited me along on vacations with them. Eddie and I were just friends. I sometimes played D&D with him but mostly just helped him create the campaigns.

"Oh Steve! So good to see you, sorry your folks couldn't make it this year." I heard from Eddie's uncle. I looked to my left and saw Steve, he was attractive. Tall, lots of hair, a kind face. I smiled at him as he caught a glance of me and he smiled back.

"What would you like to eat?" I heard Eddie's voice next to me. I snapped out of Steve's glance and looked next to me. He was looking down at the menu and I sighed.

"I didn't even look at the menu yet." I laughed and grabbed it, searching for something that looked more appetizing than Steve who sat across from me. I looked over the top of my menu and caught his eyes again. He was starring at me, he didn't even care that I caught him starring, he maintained eye contact with me and smirked. I smiled back, looking down at my menu. What a fun trip this will be.

The next morning we walked through the park, trying to get in lines quick enough to not wait as long.

"I can't believe you've never been here before." Eddie stated next to me and I laughed.

"Why is that so unbelievable?" He shrugged his shoulders and laughed.

"I don't know, I just feel like your family is so adventurous and what not that at some point they would have thought to take you to Disney." I shook my head.

"Wrong kind of adventure. They like national parks like the grand canyon, and the redwood forest type things."

"Uhh I would argue Disneyland is a national park!" I laughed as he spun us around with his hands in mine.

"I guess you're right! It's pretty incredible here." We stopped spinning and laughed some more.

"You've never been here?" I heard a voice behind me. I spun around and saw Steve, backwards ball cap and a simple t-shirt. Wow he was hot.
