CHAPTER 7: Mystries unfold.

ANNABETH'S POV:
The boy seemed so much like... Percy. It still pained to remember him.

No one, I was sure could kill whole of the army in less than 5 minutes, that too single handedly.

Not to mention the fact that he killed Kronos, who could only be killed by Percy.

"So who are you", I asked, to the boy, who sat with his back to me, armour and shirt, with hood, lying beside him.

PERCY'S POV:
What do I do now... There she stood, right behind me.

I did the only obvious thing....I took the hood and pulled it on, and then turned.

A bare chested boy, with a hood on head, must not have been the best sight, but It was the only option.

I had still not forgiven Annabeth for betraying me.

"I am slayer, the commander of the underworld forces" I replied.

There was a hint of disappointment on her face. Surely, she had thought I was Percy.

"I thought-" she began but was interrupted by some one.

That someone jumped out of the bushes, and, pointing at me, shouted "who are you? What are you doing at my camp".

Ahh..Henry stone, her boyfriend.

LEO'S POV:
The war ends. Everyone knows worse is yet to come.

Everyone is busy. I sit there, near cabin nine alone. It is about 9, and is quite dark.

Suddenly, a hand grips my shoulder. I can see the silhouette of a boy, muscular, and about my age.

"Hi, I am Jason grace" says Jason. I am rejoiced. So Jason is finally here from camp Jupiter.

"Um... Hi, I am shadow, a commander in the underworld army" I said.

Jason sits beside me. We started talking. After some time.

"Seeing your supreme commander fight today made me remember of a friend of mine. " Jason said distantly after some time.

"Who, if you don't mind telling me"

Jason was quiet for som time.

"That's totally fine if you don't want to tell me" I replied.

"No. Nothing like that" Jason begin.

"His name was Percy Jackson" he began. He was a son of posideon, and perhaps the greatest warrior we ever had."

"He one day suddenly fleed the camp, and everyone believes he is dead"Jason said.

"Why did he leave?" I asked.

"It is believed that he found his girlfriend cheating...however it was later found that she had been tricked to do so"

"She still loves him, and does not believe him to be dead, and spends most of her time finding him" Jason said sadly.

I was shocked....I must tell this to Percy as soon as possible. I was also a little disappointed when he did not mention me.

"About the same time, another guy, Leo disappeared."

"He was my best friend, and closest i have had to a brother. " Jason stifled a sob. "There is no trace of him as well" a single tear came down his cheek.

I couldn't bear any more lies. I would've to tell him the truth.

I pulled my hood back and shouted "uncle Leo's back Jason"

Tears flowed down his eyes, and he punched me, then grasped me in a hug.

PERCY'S POV:
I expected Annabeth to go straight in his arms. I wanted to punch him so bad.

I was however, shocked to see what happened next.

"Just leave you idiot, or do you want me to to beat you again?"

And Henry did so. He turned to his heels and ran, scowling at me.

"Wait-what-" I began...but was cut off in between.

"I had taken you for my boyfriend Percy.....- he disappeared about an year ago..."

"Disappeared?"I asked.

"Well...he saw me kissing someone else....the one who just came" she said, flatly.

She might have seen my expression and was quick to add-"although I did not do it willingly....I was tricked by Aphrodite cabin".

I was shocked. Taken totally by surprise. To surprised to even speak.

I finally managed-"do you still love him"

Her voice was choked with emotion. "We had been together for 6 years...most of my time is still spent trying to find him"

"I do of course still love him"

Oh....I had stayed away from the camp...and my wise girl for an year, ...... for no apparent reason?

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
So....the chapter ends...
It might have been boring for some, but it the next chapter, we might just get to see a duel between Percy and Henry..so stay tuned.
