CHAPTER 14: Leo's Back

LEO'S POV:

I rushed in the camp with cal, straight to the gods.

People from all sides were whispering, others shouting my name.

I could hear Percy and Jason shouting my name from the back. I didn't turn, and continued to walk.

I soon came to where the gads stood. They looked at me in disbelief.

One particular God looked more surprised than others and came to me.

Hephaestus. I had missed him, but I still didn't go there, rather marched straight to Zeus.

There he stood, a plain look on his face, staring at me...

"What is the meaning of all this?" I demanded.
Zeus rose, a hint of frustration on his face.

"What do you mean, Leo Valdez?" He thundered.

I pulled the hood back from calypso's face.

The gods gasped. Whispers everywhere. They looked at her in disbelief.

"Um.. Hey, sister calypso...how are you doing?" Zeus started hesitantly.

"You, of all people dare to ask this, zeus? You?" She glared, anger in her voice.

"After keeping me trapped on that island for centuries after centuries" she shouted.

"Hey, look, sister..we are sorr-" posideon began meekly, but cal cut her off.

"Don't you, posideon. I know, how I have lived there. I don't need your apologies." A tear trickled down her cheek.

It was then that Athena and Aphrodite came to her to calm her down.

"Please calm down, calypso. We really are sorry" Aphrodite said, her voice heavy with charm speak.

Calypso calmed down. My Anger eased too. Then Athena did the explaining, and on the behalf of Olympians, apologised to her.

"So why did you guys come here, all of you?" I asked, when the family matters were happily settled.

Zeus's face became grave again. "The final attack from nyx is expected in the next month" he explained.

Everyone was silent once again. I just happened to glance at Henry. He had a plain face. The brute. We'd soon have to see to him.

"But for once, we're safe" hades said."we have successfully defeated Gaia. Let's hope for the best" he smiled.

'We' huh....THEY really did help! The mood however cheered a little.

"So now, it's time for us to leave..." Hermes said, looking at his watch. He passed a smile at Luke's side.

It was then I noticed, he too had no hood. So he had revealed his identity too.

And everyone had forgiven him.... Not that earlier they had held him responsible.

Seeing them like this certainly made me happy.

The Olympians disappeared. All, in a single flash of light.

All except Hephaestus. He came to me, his eyes having a twinkle. "I always knew you could do this Leo... I'll always be proud of you... No matter where you are" then he too disappeared with a flash.

I swelled with pride. I had missed dad. He was not the one to give appreciation much. He gave this time.

So, he really was proud! It made me happy to think that I had done something to make HIM proud...

I then went to meet other campers. The all welcomed me...especially cabin 9... My cabin.

I then went with Percy, annabeth, Jason, piper, and Luke. And of course calypso.

So the cabin is once more happy... Now we'll have some pranks... Leo time!!
