CHAPTER 17: Another Enemy.

LEO'S POV:

The old centaur stood in our front, a grave look on his face.

He was clearly much more shocked than us, to see the hellhound, commander of Nyx, in the camp premises.

"Hey...so all's right! Chiron saves us all!" I laughed.

They were all silent and didn't flinch. Then I saw why, and instantly felt foolish.

"Rush them to the infirmary, NOW" Chiron commanded, pointing at Luke and Jason. I had totally forgotten about them.

Jason had his head badly bruised, with blood trickling down the brow. Luke was somewhat better.

We picked them up and ran to the infirmary.
We reached there in about 5 minutes.

Chiron immediately called Argus. We, meanwhile, helped them with some ambrosia. Luke stirred a little.

He tried to sit but Percy laid him back. Jason showed no improvement. Soon, argus came to attend them, and we were sent out.

"Grab some sleep if you can...argus won't let any of you in before morning." Chiron said.

We all left for our camps reluctantly.

NICO'S POV:

It was 6 in the morning, and I woke and straightaway ran to see Luke and Jason.

I entered the infirmary. I saw piper sitting next to Jason, and hey.... Bianca.. Next to Jason.

She blushed as she saw me. "So how are you guys feeling now?" I questioned.

Argus answered me for them from the back of the hall. "Luke is fine, but Jason needs rest. They got away lucky, because they were immediately attended." He said.

"Hey, I'm fine too"Jason said. He had a bleak voice. He was obviously not fully fit.

"No" argus said firmly, and retired from the hall.

Percy and others arrived in a few minutes.
"What took you so long?" Luke asked.

"We had some....explaining to do, to other camp members." Percy said.

We talked on for some time. All the time I couldn't help glancing at Luke and bianca... Really?

LUKE'S POV:

Rest of the day passed on, quite easily. We had a lunch, and finally some games.

However, at the end of the day, I received the information that Chiron had called a meeting.

All the camp leaders and warriors of underworld were to come.

It must be something serious, or otherwise Chiron won't have asked for us on such short notice.

The meeting would start in 10 mins, and I am leaving for the big house..

LEO'S POV:

I went to the big house for the meeting. What did Chiron have to say? Noting good for sure!

When I arrived, everyone was already seated around the table, with Chiron at the head.

"You're late, Leo Valdez" Chiron said. I apologised and took my place.

I noticed Jason's place was empty. He was not yet fit...

The meeting began.

Chiron addressed the crowd.
"So here we all stand, on the verge of, perhaps, the greatest war ever. So far, we have done well" he began.

" I'd straightaway come to the point now. Why this meeting was called"

"We all know about Henry. We managed to kill him.... He was, as you know, the commander of her army." He continued.

"Now, with him dead, she would have to get a new commander. Gods fear that he might be one of their greatest enemies."

"One who lifted Olympus itself. One who is feared by all. One, who makes the earth rumble, and is the strongest child of Gaia, stronger than even Titans."

"He is the greatest challenge the gods ever faced."

All the faces around the table became worried.

"Good thing is that he is currently imprisioned, and needs to be freed." Chiron continued.

"Who is he, Chiron?" Percy questioned.

Chiron frowned. "You have met him, Percy, before the Titan war"

Percy frowned. Then, suddenly, a wave of terror seized his face. His face became Devastated.

"Yes Percy..... Typhon"

AUTHORS NOTE:

Typhon... Anyone remembered? Yep.. That fellow. Would Percy be able to face the threat? Or would typhon be freed?
