CHAPTER 20: Friends.

LUKE'S POV:

The attack was sudden. The took us over completely by surprise.

One knocked Percy off. I dodged over. So it was me against 3!  I stroked and dodged, and managed to kill one.

However, I was were soon overpowered. They started gaining.

In another 2 minutes, they had me down. They pinned back my hands.

The ship seemed badly damaged. There was a hole in the deck.

Now we were completely at their mercy. We had no chance!

LEO'S POV:

They damaged the ship. My ship! If I somehow survived, they were dead.

Who was this boy in the cloak? Why didn't he reveal his identity?

Then came Percy and Luke. When they knocked Percy and captivated Luke, my hopes dashed.

We were all captives now. We could do nothing. Helplessness gripped me.

Then suddenly, the stranger spoke "so how are you" the voice mocked.

Aaahh.... Why hadn't I known before....I recognised the voice all to well.

He removed the hood. Ethan Nakamura!!
He was a son of nemesis, who had been on the wrong side of Titan war.

He had died in the war, but here he was, all in flesh and blood.

"Nyx brought me back to life, and promised me revenge!" He said.

At first, we were all too shocked." Hey, Ethan...understand, that we are good and you're on wrong side!" Annabeth began.

"It's still not too late... Please let us free and join us!" She said.

"Huh.." Ethan gave a grunt. "Huh, do you think I'm a fool. I wouldn't join GODS. " he said. 

"Now you shall all die..." His face turned into a lopsided smile.

The Cyclopes first went to Nico and positioned his sword on his neck.

All was over... We had failed the gods. We had failed everyone....

NICO'S POV:

He came to me with death in his eyes, and
The one with the knife in hand behind me, dropped it and watched, baffled.
positioned his sword on my neck.

I closed my eyes. Closed my eyes in seclusion....

Just when I'd given all hope, there came a blood curling war cry, from the skies.  

Within moments, a giant eagle descended on Argo 2. The Cyclopes paused.

From its back jumped a girl, all in black armour, with a hood. My face widened in a smile. Our 'Friends' had arrived.

The drakon attacked. He must have been the stupidest one. The eagle swooped above him, and holding him in his claws, chopped his head.

There was a screech and a sickening crunch as the darkon died. Ethan's face widened.

The eagle then dropped him off in the sea beneath, and landed back on the deck. Phew! That was quick.

Then, it changed to a tiger and attacked a Cyclopes. The left over Cyclopes charged.

The tiger was quick and brutal. In seconds, he had the first one down, and then the second.

Each movement was precise, and made to kill. Soon he had killed all the Cyclopes.

Then it changed to its regular form. Hazel and frank zhang walked towards us...

"Need some help, guys?" Hazel grinned. We nodded.

In seconds, we were free. Frank had grown a little in height, hazel was quite the same.

We started exchanging pleasantries. It was then that Leo suddenly said" guys, where's Ethan?"

We all looked around. He had disappeared. Fled. We looked around...there simply was no trace of him!

I might not be updating so frequently for a couple of weeks, maybe twice or thrice a week..... Got some exams!!
