CHAPTER 19: Off To Mount Etna.

NICO'S POV:

I'm done with my packing. The quest came as a surprise. But, we must go, as situation is more critical back there.

One thing worries me though. Nyx is not a fool. She must already have intercepted what we were going to do. Could she have sent others...

No. Let's keep these thoughts aside. I head out of my room to where we were supposed to gather.

When I reached, I found that others had already gathered there. Other campers were gathered there too.

I joined them. Yes. All the campers were here, to say their goodbyes.

Jason came to me. "Good luck Nico.. And do return back!" Jason grinned, and hugged me.

I liked the guy. He always kept his spirits high, and no matter what, looked on the positive side of every thing.

"Thanks Jason..." I grinned back. Piper followed his example and said me goodbye.

After all goodbyes were said, and we were about to leave, bian ca ran over to me. She kissed me on the cheek.

"Goodbye Nico... Please take care" her face was concerned. She was the elder sister, after all.

I smiled. " I'll take care, sis." I replied. I'd really not got much time to be with her after she came, and I was worried about how she'd react.

The concern showed, all I needed to know. She was still the same old bianca, which I had been separated from, few years before....

PERCY'S POV:

So... It's been about two hours since we've left the camp. Leo says it would be another 10 hours to reach etna. I'm my room with Luke.

I was teasing him about something I came to know about him and bianca, when suddenly there was a crash on the deck above.

It disturbingly sounded like the mast breaking off.....

We ran out of the room. In seconds, we were on the deck. I was shocked to see the sight.

Everything was shattered. There was a big hole in to floor. Argo 2 looked badly damaged.

What shocked us more was, there, at a corner, there was a darkon.... Yes, that acid spitting thing, and a couple of Cyclopes holding captive, a shocked Leo, Nico, cal and Annabeth.

They were gaged, and Nico wasn't flinching, and had a bumpy forehead. Their hands were tied too.

Without another thought, we quickly reached to them, and drew our swords.

Annabeth stared at me with open eyes. I got the warning, but a little too late....

Someone banged my head with something hard, and black spots came into my eyes, making me dizzy.... I fainted.

ANNABETH'S POV:

It happened all of a sudden. A hooded black figure landed on the mast of our ship.

With 4 Cyclopes, much bigger and bulkier than normal once. How I hated these creatures! Except of course, Tyson...

To make matters worse, with them came a drakon. Yep....drakon.

They took us by surprise. We were outnumbered. Nico saw us and rushed to help. He drew his blade and swung it.

Then again, they were really strong, and knocked Nico off. His head hit the floor, and he lost consciousness.

They got us all in minutes and tied us to the pole. Then they started damaging the ship.

It was the Percy and Luke came. I desperately gestured them to stop. This was a trap! They were right behind! 

But They got it late... Too late. A cyclops hit Percy from behind, right on the head. Percy fell on the floor....

Luke charged, but 2 more Cyclopes joined, and got him into firm grip.

What now?....what would they do to us...
Who was the hooded figure....why did he, or she, whatever....seem somewhat known?
