PERCY'S POV:
Now that I knew the truth, I did not have to conceal my identity from her.

"Annabeth" I said.

She looked up at me. It really did hurt, to see her in Pain, teary eyed. I had forgotten, how beautiful she was......

"Yes, slayer?" She asked.

"What if Percy appears in front of you?" I asked.

"I would tell him the truth, and we'd never part again." Was her reply.

Without further delay, I removed my hood. She was wide eyed with surprise.

"Hey wise girl" I smiled. Tears flowed down her eyes as she grasped me in a tight hug.

"Percy....is it really you? It's too good to be true" she finally said, taking my face in her hands.

"Yes Annabeth" I smiled again. "I missed you....a lot"I said.

Suddenly, her face became saddened again. "I am so sorry Percy, but I was trick-"she started, but I cut her off with a kiss.

It lasted for little over a minute. Then we broke apart. It was now almost midnight.

We talked for few more minutes, holding each other's hand, under the stars.

Then, it was the time to leave for beds. It had been a long day. We stood up.

She did not leave my hand, even as we walked. I had missed he sooo much.

Then, when we were almost leaving the woods, there came sound of chanting.

I was very surprised. Then it eased. I thought that it was merrily a misconception.

Then I heard it again. This time, Annabeth heard it too.

"What was that, Percy? Did you hear it?" She asked.

I nodded. I felt the sudden chill, I felt an year ago. We started finding the source of the sound.

Soon, there we were. We hid behind a bush. We could see a silhouette.

Holy hades... On concentrating, I noticed, it was Henry, muttering something.

I was shocked. So was Annabeth. I was just about to get up, but Annabeth pulled me back.

Just then, a figure of a woman shimmered in the air. The moon hid behind clouds, temporary blinding it.

However, we could hear sounds....although  they were not clear. I could hear Henry saying something "sorry..I ..mother" wait...mother?

Yes...I was sure he said mother. Suddenly, the the moon came out. Everything was bathed in moonlight. We were well hidden.

The face of woman became visible. The Colour drained from my face. Severe terror seized me.

Terror that knew no bounds....

I quickly took ANnabeth's hand, and, along with her, fled. We were soon far off.

I quickly wore my hood and armour. We took some breath. We had ran all way long.

"Look Annabeth... There is something big going on in the camp. You must not revel my identity"

"Percy, who-" she began, but I cut her off.

"We must go to Chiron at once...now, and quickly..."

We ran towards the big house. It was 1at night now. She followed without question.

We reached the big house. We quickly woke up Chiron. I was still in deep shock.

"What are you guys-" he said sleepily, by Annabeth cut her off.

"Wake up, Chiron, it's something really important." Annabeth said.

In another five minutes, we three were sitting round the table. I was growing impatient.

"Tell me Chiron, has Henry yet been claimed?"I asked impatiently.

"No.... It doesn't take the Olympians this long, more than a year, to claim anyone...something about him is different". Chiron said.

I sighed. My fears were confirmed.

"Olympians won't claim him, Chiron.....he is the son of Nyx, the darkness herself".
