Chapter 28: Nurse

Karylle woke up seeing Anne just an inch in front of her. She smiled as she caress her face.

"Anne.. baby., I... I..." she stopped and sat up. She looked at Anne again and shook her head. "No. No K. You know you shouldn't" she told herself before she left her sister on the room.

She quickly headed to her own room and took a shower trying to remember everything she has said and done the night before. She can't hide it anymore, no matter how she deny it she has this little something for her sister.

Anne's POV

8am

I woke up realizing that she's not beside me anymore. Maybe she slept on her own room after I fell asleep to think that she was the one to ask that she wanted to sleep beside me.

"Psh. Ambisyosa ka kasi Anne eh" I told myself as I drag myself to the bathroom.

Damn it! I still can't get over on the way she acted last night. From the time she kissed me on my cheek telling me how lucky she is to have a beautiful girl like me. From the time she admired how I dressed last night, the way she danced on the dance floor while I was with Georgina, the way she touched my lips telling me that she wanted to kiss me, the way she positioned herself on top of me and.. and.. I erased my thoughts away as I let the water from the shower flow through my body.

"Damn Anne!" I said. NO! She wasn't dancing with some other guys just because she's jealous of Georgina. She doesn't wanna kiss me. Maybe it's just because of the alcohol because if she really wanted to kiss me, she wouldn't talk to Marian that way, she shouldn't have asked her for a kiss. And no.. she doesn't feel the same way I feel for her because if she do, she wouldn't have called me AMBISYOSA.

"Fvck" I said again when I realized that I am already crying. I can't help it anymore. No matter what I do, I can't stop myself from loving her.

"Anne? Anne are you in?" I heard Karylle said after she knocked on the door. I quickly got my robe and wear it before I opened the door. I'm done taking a bath anyway.

"Yes?" I asked while furrowing my brows. She looks pale. I walk towards my closet and got myself some clothes.

"Pupunta ka talagang Baguio?" she asked. I looked at her before I turn to my closet again. She sounded a bit sad or disappointed. I don't know. "Why you didn't invite me?"

"I'll be back naman after a week. Para sakto sa bakasyon naman natin sa Batangas with the family." I said forcing a smile not minding her question. "How did you know that I'm going to Baguio?"

"Vice called." she said. "Why you didn't tell me? Ayaw mo ba akong kasama?" she asked again.

Okay, she really sounded like she's nagtatampo or whatever. But how am I supposed to tell her? The reason why I didn't tell her about the one week vacay at Baguio is because I had this little thought in my head that maybe, a time with friends will make me realize that I'm not meant for Karylle. Psh. Lame maybe, but that really is my reason.

"Anne.."

"It's just one week. If you're bored here, you can invite Marian." I said as I check my bag if I didn't forget anything. I stopped when I felt her hugging me from the back.

"Okay.. Ingat ka ha. Don't forget my pasalubong." she said. I held her hand and face her.

"Are you sick??" I said as I touch her face. "Fuck! You're hot!"

"Haha. I know"

"Psh.. you have a fever!! Lay down in bed. I gotta go, I'll just ask yaya to take care of you. Magpahinga ka dyan" I said before twisting the door knob. I might be late in our meeting place. But damn! Hindi ko siya kayang tiisin. I shook my head and went back inside the room leaving my bag on the floor.
