Chapter 12: Stop and Stare

"THEN WHAT!? MAKE ME UNDERSTAND!" Karylle shouted. She was shocked when Anne suddenly pushed her and placed herself on top of her. They were just staring at each other.

"Anne.." Karylle said nervously with her eyes furrowed.

Anne smirked and leaned closer to her not breaking their eye contact. Karylle was the one who looked away.

Both of them didn't move. Karylle was breathing heavily feeling nervous by Anne's gestures while the other smiled despite of Karylle breaking the contact. She leaned closer again and planted a kiss on her cheek.

"Goodnight" she said. "Goodnight ate K" she said once again before lying in bed.

Karylle got herself up and looked at her with curiosity.

"Sorry for this night. Promise I'll try not to disappoint you anymore." Anne said while wiping her tears again.

"Anne.." Karylle said and pulled Anne making her sit on the bed. "Listen, kung ano man 'yang problema mo, tell me. You can trust me" she said while wiping Anne's tears. She tucked her messed hair at the back of her ear.

Anne forced a smile and held Karylle on the cheeks.

"Promise me, na 'pag nalaman mo, hindi ka magagalit sa'kin." she said while looking at Karylle in the eyes. Then again, Karylle was the first one to look away.

"You're avoiding my eyes.. why is that?" Anne asked while touching her cheeks using the back of her hand.

Karylle couldn't help but smile, she's loving what Anne is doing to her right now.

"I will never allow him or anyone else to have you" Anne sincerely said while looking at Karylle's eyes and while still touching her face.

Karylle let out a small laugh because of Anne's words. She's pretty sure that her sister is really that drunk.

"You're drunk."

"You're mine."

Anne smirked and for a while, they just stared at each other. Karylle looked away again.

"Stop avoiding me." Anne said. "Look at me" she commanded and with that, Karylle stared at her.

Anne slightly pushed her and and make her lay in bed again. She positioned herself on top of her.

"Anne..." Karylle managed to say. She felt nervous by Anne's gestures.

"Natatakot ka ba sa akin?" Anne asked as she held Karylle's cheeks. She leaned closer to her, Karylle wanted to move back but how could she do that if she's already laying in bed?

Anne moved even closer to her. Her forehead is now touching Karylle's. They are that close making Karylle a little more nervous and awkward with their position. Karylle gulped and she's pushing Anne lightly but the other is stopping her.

"Shh" she said as she brushed her lips on her cheeks. "I'm loving your reaction honey" she whispered to her ear. Karylle shivered and she tried to push Anne again, this time with a much greater force.

"Anne stop!" Karylle shouted.

Anne shook her head and laid again on her bed, beside Karylle.

"Relax okay?" Anne said and then she giggled realizing that what she said earlier is a bit awkward. "I'm drunk. You're mine. Ain't that funny honey?" she asked while looking at Karylle but she didn't answer.

"Geez! I think I'm insane." Anne said while still giggling.

Karylle shook her head too and stood up.
