Chapter 33: Three Words

Anne's POV

"I..I think I love you" I tell her. She smirked and pushed me away from her. She stood up and sat on the other couch. I sat properly and looked at her as I smile.

"You're still the same old Anne." she said which made me frown. "Don't be too desperate my dear, don't force yourself to love somebody else just because the person you love can never be yours." I bit my lip.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh really? Hindi mo ba talaga naintindihan?" she asked. "I know you're into your sister and she's into you too." she said which made me smile. "Gusto mo bang sabihin ko kay tito 'yang kalokohan mo?"

"Then go! Tell him. Alam naman ni dad na babae ang-"

"Yes of course he knows. Pero tingin mo ba magiging okay pa rin sa kanya na kapatid mo ang gusto mo?" I looked away. Of course I know what dad could possibly do if ever that he'll find out about what I really feel towards Karylle. "What now Anne?" she asked. I looked at her again.

"I love her and no one could stop me. Not even dad" I said. "I'm.. I'm sorry about the kiss. I shouldn't have-"

"Shouldn't have? Admit it or not, you enjoyed it."

"Yeah. I enjoyed it but Sos, you know were over." I said while looking into her eyes.

"The question is, do you really think you and your sister could end up together?" she asked while crossing arms. "I'll be competing with her. I'll get you back and that's a promise" she said and stood up. She smiled and gave me a peck on my cheek. "Bye, I gotta go."

I followed her through my eyes as she left our house. I sighed and touched my lips while shaking my head.

"Don't be confused Anne" I tell myself.

After the call I went straight to our room only to find out that Karylle is still awake, staring blankly at the ceiling. I lay beside her and kept my phone under my pillow.

"Ba't gising ka pa?" I asked. She frowned and looked at me.

"Akala ko ba galit ka?" she asked. I chuckled.

"Ano? Bata? 'Pag galit 'di mamamansin?" I asked back. I may be mad at her but not that much that I would ignore her for a day. Besides, 'di ko rin man siya matitiis e. "Tulog tulog din" I said and let out a small laugh.

"Ikaw? Saan ka galing?" she asked.

"Phone call with Solenn." I answered with a smile.

"For two hours?"

"Uhmm yeah. You know, catch up." I said and shrugged shoulders. "Tulog na tayo?"

"Is Solenn your-"

"Friend. She's my friend" I cut her off. "Friends na rin kayo 'di ba?" she nodded and went under the blanket I breathed heavily and turned my back on her. "Okay. Fine. She's my...girlfriend."

She suddenly overturns from her lying position as if she had a bad dream. I jumped and looked at her. I didn't expect that she will react like that.

"Just kidding" I laughed because I know she's jealous. "She's my EX girlfriend" I said and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Ikaw lang love ko. Goodnight" I said and laid back to sleep. I saw her smile before she lay beside me again.

Karylle's POV

I woke up without her beside me. I went out of the bed and peeked through the window and saw mom and dad at the reclining chair beside the pool having some sweet moments; I smiled but it quickly faded away when I saw Anne swimming with Solenn. I frowned. Why the hell is she here?
