(Y/N) held her chin, her eyes fixed upon the mannequin before her.

Heaving a sigh, she stepped back, her eyes shutting as she stretched, before she finally took a seat upon her bed.

A small pout became of her lips as she swung her legs.

When is he coming? I can't wait any longer...

My shift's almost over already and he's still not here...

Her eyes fluttering, (Y/N) collapsed back onto her bed. She stared at the ceiling, where the afternoon sun rays painted golden streaks across it. Hmm... that would make a pretty dress.

(Y/N) shot up when there was a sudden knock upon her door. It was as if she had teleported towards it.

Her shining beam immediately dropped the moment she opened it.

Her father raised a brow, unamused. "What's with that face?" he whined.

(Y/N) cleared her throat, averting her gaze. "N-nothing. Sorry Dad. Didn't mean to."

Luca let out a sigh, shaking his head. "Well, anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm heading home now, unless you want me to wait for you."

"It's okay. I'll be home later," (Y/N) replied. She had a slight pout on her lips, a small exhale escaping her. Even her dad was done with his work for the day and Kaeya still wasn't here...

"Alright." Luca leant down, pressing a kiss upon her cheek. "Also, I was looking all over for you. Adelinde said that you would be cleaning right now. What are you doing in here?"

Once again, (Y/N) cleared her throat. Her face warmed as her pupils darted away, before she scratched the back of her neck guiltily.

"I see that even before Kaeya has arrived he's distracting you from your work, hm?"

"N-no..." (Y/N) rubbed her arm. "I was... finishing up some final things with Kaeya's— Master Kaeya's clothes! That's still- part of my job," she stammered.

Luca's gaze softened. He chuckled in endearment, before ruffling her hair. (Y/N) pouted again, her blush still apparent. "Of course. Well, I'll be off now then. Leon is probably feeling a little lon-"

(Y/N) blinked at her father's sudden pause. His gaze dropped towards the folders he had tucked into his arm, before he held his chin as if in deep thought.

"Actually, I just remembered I have something else I need to do first."

(Y/N)'s head tilted.

"I should be home before you get home. But don't be worried if I'm not. Stop getting distracted at work, hehe. I'll see you later."

"Um..." (Y/N) cocked a brow. "Okay... See you later, Dad."

With that, (Y/N) watched her father excuse himself downstairs, and eventually out of the winery. Question marks filled her mind, though, eventually, she shrugged. She spun on her feet, about to return into her room.

Though, all of a sudden, a loud squeal rang through her ears. Again, she practically teleported back towards the railing of the upper floor.

"Master Kaeya!!!" she heard Adelinde exclaim ecstatically. "You came back home again!!!!"

"Ah- Addie, ouch I can't breathe..."

"You didn't say you were coming! I would have cooked you your favourite meals. Oh, I'll get to work right now!"

(Y/N)'s gaze softened, a smile curving her lips as she watched Adelinde coddle her boyfriend. Even though Master Crepus or Diluc weren't here... at least... he always had Adelinde.
