Trey
As a Christmas tradition, my mother hosts her annual Christmas party on Christmas Eve night at the house. This is always a big event so my mom had me, my brother, sister, and father running all over town and around the house.

I finally get to sit down and eat once the party starts at 6pm. I sit and chill in the kitchen, away from all the people so I can eat in peace. The house is decorated inside and out with Christmas decorations. It's really nice.

"What are you doing in here all alone?" My sister Rachel asks as she walks into the kitchen with a bottle of champagne.

"Trying to eat in peace." I reply.

"Come out and have some fun, loner. They're about to do the raffle." She says by the door,

"I'll be out soon." I reply.

A couple seconds later, a familiar female voice booms into the kitchen.

"Hey, y'all!"

I look up to see Krissy walking up to Rachel to give her a hug. I scoff and return to eating my food,

"Hey, girl. How are you?" Rachel asks.

"I'm doing great actually."

"Trey," Rachel says turning to me,"Do you not see Krissy?"

"What's good?" I say emotionlessly while eating my plate of food.

"Hey," she responds back while smiling at me.

"Just ignore him, girl. He's been acting all antisocial all night." Rachel says while leading Krissy out of the kitchen.

How could I forget that my mom literally invites everyone? I don't want to start any problems tonight, but if Krissy comes at me the wrong way, I will go off. I reluctantly get off my chair and put my dishes in the sink. I check my Rolex for the time. 7:30. The party end at midnight.

I spend Christmas Eve night at home alone. My family went on without me to church for the annual Christmas concert, but I didn't feel like going this year.

My father left the fire in the fireplace on so I sit in front of it with a blanket around me making s'mores and drinking hot chocolate. Maybe I should go to the concert because I'm bored and lonely as hell.

I wonder what Trey is doing. I haven't talked to him in two weeks. Just as I'm about to pick up my phone to send him a text, the doorbell rings. I guess God answered my calls.

I peek through the hole to see Jeremiah bundled up in a winter coat and hat with gifts in his hands. What is he doing here? I open the door and a cold burst of air attacks me. Since I'm only wearing a tank and sweats(no bra) my nipples quickly harden.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask him.

With his teeth chattering, he asks,"Can I come on first?

I step back so that he can enter.

"I didn't see you at church tonight so I asked your mom where you were. She told me you were home so I decided to come keep you company. No one should be alone on Christmas." He says.

I smile at his thoughtfulness.

"Well, come on in then. Make yourself comfortable."

He removes his hat and coat to reveal that he's wearing a red button up shirt and black bow tie. He grabs the gifts and says,

"Lead the way."

I lead him to the family room where I was just having my alone time.

"Who are the gifts for?" I ask him as he sets the gifts under the Christmas tree except one small box.

"Your parents and your brother." He answers as he walks towards me.

He stands right in front of me as he holds the box out to me.
"This is for you." He says.

I take it and thank him.

"Thank you, Jeremiah. You're so sweet."

"Open it." He suggests.

I look into his eyes, and they're filled with excitement.

"Okayyy." I reply nervously while unwrapping the box.

In my hand bears a Tiffany&Co jewelry box. I gasp and look up at Jeremiah in disbelief.

"Open it."

I open the box to reveal the 18k gold pearl earrings. Homygosh.

"Oh my goodness, Jer." I say in disbelief.

These earrings cost a LOT of money.

"Do you like them?" He asks.

"Of course I do." I respond,"Thank you."

I close the box and give him a hug and kiss on his cheek. Still holding onto, Jeremiah kisses my forehead. I lean my head up ever so slightly to lightly peck his soft lips. He lifts my chin back up and kisses me again. This time it's deeper.

He breaks away and looks into my eyes with wonder. I chuckle and take his hand to lead him to the fireplace. We both sit, and I offer him s'mores and hot chocolate which he gladly accepts.

Soon, we're both laying out on the floor cuddling and talking about random crap. The topic soon turns to sex.

"So you're still a virgin." I state,"Fingering a girl does not count, Jer."

He laughs and says,"Okay. I am, but I remember how close we were to doing it when we were together."

Memories flash back of the many heated moments Jeremiah and I had together.

"We did get pretty close." I chuckle.

"Are you still a virgin?" He asks.

Far from it.

"No, I'm not. I lost it like last year to my ex." I state.

My ex being Monte. I let the dumb jerk persuade me into losing my virginity to him.

"Oh wow." Is all that he says.

I immediately move away from him and sit up. He sits up behind me completely confused.

"Did I say something wrong?" He asks.

"You probably think that I'm a thot." I say.

"What the hell? No I don't. I feel no different about you then I did 15 minutes ago." He says while lightly putting his hand on my shoulder.

I remain silent.

"Can you look at me please?" He asks.

I turn around and stare at his shirt. He scoots closer to me and pushes a strand of my hair back. He lifts my chin up and says,

"Don't be ashamed of yourself in front of me."

He leans in and kisses me.

I can't wait for winter. A little romance going on between Liberty and Jeremiah. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing.
