Liberty
I roll out of my bed for the first day of finals. I only have two exams, but I'm still stressed out.

Rihanna and Gab have both texted me "Good luck." And for me to call them after because they have some big news.

"Yeah. Okay." I text back.

I get ready, grab my bag, and head off to campus for testing. I check my Instagram timeline as I get out of car. Good morning post, he's nasty, annoying, hoe, like, "have you seen me" photo.

I'm about to slide past it, but the face seems familiar. I do a double take when I see that the picture is a man I hold dear to my heart. Tremaine. Maybe it's a joke? Dwayne posted this two hours ago in anger. The caption reads,"

"My boy Trey has been missing for the past week. He ain't never did anyone wrong. It isn't like him just to up and vanish out of no where. Please, if you have any information about him, please contact me. His family and friends just want him home safe."

I fight back tears. I'm so weak that I have to use my car to lean on. I'm so shocked. With shaky hands, I call Gabby.

As soon as she picks up, I come after her life.

"Why the hell didn't you tell me sooner?!"

"Because I just found out too!" She says back knowing exactly what I'm talking about.

"Oh God. I can't even think straight." All of my past decisions I begin to regret. Why did my stubborn ass take 5 months to talk to him?

"Just breath. The police are leading an investigation to find him. Do you have any clue who's behind this?" She asks.

My mind is boggling with different scenarios. He must be so scared now. Think, Liberty, think.

"I don't know. Maybe his crazy ex, Scarlett. She always seemed to get Trey in a bad mood. I don't know.... Monte?"

She sighs,"That's what we've all been thinking down here."

"I'm so scared, Gabby. I don't want him to die."

"Listen, you relax and go take your exams, and call me when you're done. Trey would want you do well and not worry." She tells me.

"Okay, okay. I'll call you later." I reply reluctantly.

She hangs up, and I stare at my phone. I go to my gallery to find the selfies that Trey would take on my phone without permission. I miss him so much. His smile, his touch, his laugh, his kisses. Whoever did this is gonna regret it.

Author's Note
This isn't a bad cliff hanger like last chapter's. Lol.
