Liberty- Two Days Later
I bust into my brother's room without knocking to find him on top of his girlfriend(they had clothes on. Lol.) He jumps off of her and stares at me in, at first, confusion then anger.

"The hell, Liberty? What?!" He yells.

The only reason why he has her here is because my parents aren't home.

"Do you know where my black heels are?" I ask ignoring his reaction.

I need them tomorrow for my graduation ceremony. I really don't know where they are... Maybe my mother has them.

"No, dammit. Now get out." He says with an attitude.

I place a hand on my hip and roll my eyes. His girl, Nadia, sits in silence as we bicker. She's so young and stupid. Knowing how Antoine is, he's only after one thing. Done with him, I leave slamming the door behind me.

"Call ya man!" He yells.

I hear Nadia ask him something in her high-pitched voice and Antoine saying,"Don't worry about her. She's just bored."

I stomp down the stairs, put on some flip flops, and grab my keys before leaving the house. I text my girls Rihanna and Gabby to see where they are. They're coming up for my graduation and they will be here later. I miss being able to hang out with my girls anytime.

"We're in New Jersey! We just stopped to pee. It's so hot!" Gabby texts back.

"It can get warm up here... Text me when y'all in NY. What do y'all wanna eat?" I ask as I start the engine of my BMW.

As soon as that's sent, Gabby calls me and puts me on speaker. I laugh and shake my head.

"Ya fat selves called me though?" I ask.

"Well you're cooking so I thought I'd call." Rih says.

"What do y'all want? I'm going to the grocery store now..."

"Something with chicken because I'm craving that.. And bake some of those chocolate chip cookies." Gabby says.

"I want some shrimp, girl. Mama's been hungry." Rih says.

"Alright. I got y'all. Drive safe and don't do anything crazy!" I exclaim.

"Alright, alright! Bye, ho!" Gabby says before hanging up.

I smile to myself and back out of the driveway. I turn on my music and bump to the music on my phone. My two best friends are coming and I'm graduating tomorrow. I should be happy, right?

"Ight, ma. See you in a couple days." I say while giving her a hug.

"Are you sure about this?" She asks.

I sigh, "Yeah. She's sacrificed a lot for me. I should too."

"Alright. Go on, now. Make sure you eat the lunch I packed for you." She says as pick up my bag.

I give her another hug.

"Yes, ma. Love you." I say before turning and walking to the waiting area.

"Love you too." She says.

My train should be here in another twenty minutes. It's 8pm and the train ride is about 6 hours. I know Liberty's graduation is tomorrow and I'll be tired as hell. I catch a group of ladies glancing at me and smiling. I keep my face blank and turn back to my phone. I don't have time for this.

I put on my beats headphones and blast some music. This is gonna be a long night. A shadow blocks out my light and I look up. It's one of the ladies from the group. I take out my headphones and keep a blank face.

"Can I help you?" I ask.

"I just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself." She says.

"Save it. I'm taken." I say quickly dismissing her.

She was Her face is a little surprised and obviously disappointed. As I'm about to put my headphones in again, she stops me.

"But where is she though?" She asks.

"At home. Can you leave me alone?" I ask annoyed.

"If I was your girl, I wouldn't let you travel alone." She states with an attitude.

I look her dead in her eyes. She wouldn't have a chance with me with that attitude.

"But you're not my girl. I don't know you, and you don't know me. Good bye."

She places one hand on her hip and smirks.

"Look, I just think you're really sexy. Can I at least have your number?" She says sweetly trying to win me over.

"Uh no. Are you crazy? I have a GIRLFRIEND, and I kinda don't wanna mess that up." I say.

You know what? I stand up, grab my bag, and step past to go to another area of the waiting room. I feel her eyes following me as I walk away.

I sit in between an old couple and a mother with a toddler. I keep to myself and bump my music as I send Liberty cute texts. She still doesn't know that I'm coming up there. My main concern is meeting her parents, to be honest. Liberty warned me that they aren't as chill as my parents. Especially her dad.

"What you got on?👀" I ask her through a text.

"Bonnet, moomoo, granny panties, thick leggings, and slippers. 😘 sexy, right?" She texts back playfully.

"Real sexy, bae. Just take everything off and send me a pic😉"

"Boy BYE!" She replies.

I chuckle and stand up when the loudspeaker announces the arrival of my train. Ct, here I come!
