Easy as walking in

Popularity is as easy as walking in as long as you've got good looks and someone good looking next to you.

Cole and I strode into school just as the bell for first period sounded.

"See?" Cole pointed to the ceiling where the sound had come from, "fashionably late."

"Normal late." I argued, rolling my eyes, "so if we aren't doing any real work, what are we doing?"

He said nothing, beginning to walk away to God knows where. Rolling my eyes in exasperation, I follow him.

Cole stops in front of a random class room, the door reading, 109 chemistry.

Raising an eyebrow, I shrug and follow his lead as he takes my hand and marches into the classroom.

Eyes turn as we enter, girls staring at Cole like he's an angel before glaring at me for him being mine. The boys wolf whistled, most of them staring at me with big eyes as if I were a juicy piece of meat. What pigs honestly.

"Hello loyal subjects," Cole addressed the class in a regal yet comical voice, spreading his arms as if welcoming them to his rule, "we are your new figurative king and queen, if anyone has a problem with it, please raise your hand like good peasants."

I snort laughed, covering my mouth as I tried not to laugh at their mixed expressions. The faces before me ranged from confusion to awe to outrage.

The jocks in the back stood up, looking thoroughly pissed off. They marched to the front of the class, glaring at Cole.

"Problem, boys?" Cole questioned with a smirk, crossing his arms as they had a stare down.

"You may be new here, but you don't own this school!" The head of the jocks growled out in a commanding voice.

"Oh contraire." Cole countered, tipping his head a tiny bit, "who's gonna stop me?"

The head jock raised an eyebrow, "I'm already king, but she can be queen if she wants." He pointed at me, glancing over but not at my face.

"All or nothing bro." Cole shakes his head, "you get both of us or none of us."

"Really?" The head jock arched an overly perfect brow, "why don't we ask her?"

"Go right ahead!" Cole challenged, crossing his arms.

The jock smirked, his leaf green eyes lighting up with twisted intentions, "how bout it beautiful? I'm king, wanna be queen?"

Narrowing my eyes, I decided to play it cool, reaching up I ruffled his originally perfect light brown hair, "you wish. You didn't give a damn about me before I marched in here so why should I give a damn about you?"

"Because I'm Weston Douglas." He explained, coyly giving an expression that said beat that.

"Well, Weston," I began, matching his look with one that said fine, I will beat that, "I'm out of your league and not stupid enough to give into you like all the dumb chicks you hit up."

I noticed a few girls jaws drop as if I'd personally called them sluts. They were probably some of the poor idiots who'd made the mistake of going along with Weston. Along with him to his room that is.

Weston scowled, crossing his arms like a child throwing a tantrum, "you'll be mine. Just you wait."

With that the all mighty jock king stormed out, bumping Cole's shoulder on his way past.

"So it's settled then, we own the place now." Cole summed up with a satisfied nod. Taking my hand, he walked out of the class and repeated the same speech in every other class room occasionally being challenge. But he silenced any objections with threatening death glares.

As we strode triumphantly out of the last room, Cole turned to me, a wide grin plastered on his face, "see? Schools way more fun when your not learning."

Rolling my eyes, I shoved him lightly, "so what now?"

"Well I'm gonna hit the bathroom, so you can wait here," he informed me before a smirk snuck its way onto his lips, "I mean, unless you want to come with."

I scrunched my face in revolt, "that's disgusting Cole! I'll be waiting here."

He laughed heartily before walking off in the direction of the bathroom. I leaned against the wall, contently relaxing.

As I was enjoying my moment of peace, someone decided to interrupt it. It'd only been a few hours or so and he was already trying to prove his idiotic point.

"Hey beautiful." Weston greeted with a twisted smile as he strode up to me, pressing me against the wall with his hands on my waist.

"Get off!" I growled, glaring at him with pure hatred. Popularity doesn't mean everybody will do anything you ask!

"No I don't think I will." Weston shot back, pressing in closer, "nice shirt by the way." He commented, staring down at or probably into my shirt.

"What the hells wrong with you?" I asked genuinely, as I stared at him in disgust, "you never even glanced at me before today."

"Today is your first day isn't it?" Weston asked slowly, confusion lacing his tone and expression.

"No! I've been here since freshman year!" I clarified, glaring at him. Could he be any more of an oblivious douche?

"What's your name?" He continues, now looking heavily confused.

"Molly bates."

"Wait, what?" Weston shakes his head in shock, "you are not Molly bates. She's some conservative good girl, teachers pet, straight A student, kiss up and she sure as hell wouldn't date a 'bad boy'"

"Things have changed, I gave up on all that crap," I started, "and yes! Yes I would date a bad boy. But never someone like you."

He glared at me, "this isn't over." Marching away in a whirl of fury, Weston turned the corner, disappearing as I let out a sigh of relief.

After messing with lockers and putting fake hazard signs on water fountains, Cole and I had decided to ditch the last part of school.

We headed over to a local coffee shop sitting by the window as we laughed about our pranks.

"Wait you put a hazard sign on all the girls bathrooms?" Cole asked with a look of amusement.

I nodded, laughing as I imagined the horrified looks of the girls when they couldn't find a "safe" bathroom.

"Nice!" Cole laughed, giving a fake clap as he nodded in approval. He held up his hand for a high five.

High giving him, I smirked, "you put em on the guys bathrooms?"

Cole shook his head, "nah they'd just pee out front."

"Ha!" I laughed, holding my stomach as I was taken over by fits of laughter.

We grinned and laughed for a few more minutes before packing up and heading toward the door. As we were walking out a small family was walking in. Mother, father, a little boy and girl about my age.

They were all bleach blondes, they were kind of an adorable family until the girl looked up and gaped at Cole and I.

"Cole Huntley?!" The girl asked in disbelief.

My eyebrows immediately furrowed as I looked between Cole and the blonde, "Cole... Who is she?"
