☠ Cole's POV ☠
Vanessa served as a good distraction all night, keeping my mind off wondering why Molly was ignoring me.Though my mind drifted quite a few times while Vanessa ran her hands over me and through my hair, kissing my collar bone and neck.
I don't know what time it was when I finally passed out. She woke me up in the morning. She was loudly getting dressed, throwing her shoes into her purse instead of putting them on.
She glanced over and notice I was awake, "morning."
I gave a very slight wave, and she rolled her eyes and continued, "that was fun, you still owe me though, I gotta get to work."
She finished buttoning her shirt and walked back to my bed, placing her hand on my bare stomach and kissing my neck one last time, whispering, "bye Cole."
"Bye Van." I muttered, yawning.
Vanessa glared at me, "you know I hated being called that."
"Sorry, bye bitch." I corrected, smirking at her.
She rolled her eyes exaggeratedly, "whatever. See ya."
With that she grabbed her purse and headed out. I groaned, already regretting calling her for a one night stand.
Chills ran down my spine and I grabbed my clothes off the floor, quickly getting dressed and heading down to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
➳ Molly's POV ➳
We pulled up to my dad's house and I got out, smiling happily. My smile dropped off my face almost instantly.I noticed Vanessa leaving Cole's house, her hair suspiciously messy and her feet bare. My heart dropped, a sick feeling churning in my stomach.
Suddenly I wasn't so eager to go see Cole. Swallowing my sickening suspicion, I went inside my house and unpacked my suitcase before refilling it with fresh clothes.
My mom had decided to wait in the car while I went and got my stuff.
It didn't take very long and I quickly returned and put my suitcase in the car.
"You wanna go get Cole?" My mom offered, giving me a look that told me she knew I wanted to.
I did but I also didn't want to find out that he was breaking up with me or something to go back to Vanessa.
Taking a deep breath, I nodded and jogged up to Cole's front door and knocked.
He opened it; shirtless and eyes sunken in exhaustion.
My brows furrowed, "what happened to you?"
Cole just stared at me blankly for a moment before realization seemed to slap him in the face and his features lit up.
"Molly!" He wrapped me in a huge bear hug, pressing me against him.
Tentatively, I hugged him back, heavily confused by everything today.
He kept holding me, murmuring softly, "God I missed you."
"I missed you to, sorry I never called, I kinda drowned my phone at the nail salon." I explained awkwardly, chuckling, "but what happened to you? You look awful."
