Taking a deep breath, I leaned my head on his back, why not trust him? He had come to my rescue even when I was being a bitch toward him.

"Where are we going?" I yelled above the noise of rushing night wind.

"Close your eyes!" He yelled back, with a mischievous tone.

"Why?"

"Do you trust me princess?" He asked simply, though he had to yell for me to hear him over the all the wind.

I nodded but quickly realized he couldn't see me so I yelled instead, "yes!"

"Then close your eyes!"

I took a deep breath and held on tighter to him as I pressed my eyes shut. It was surprisingly calming to close my eyes and lean on him as he sped down the deserted road. I could've stayed there forever...

The engine halted, coming to a shuddering stop before falling silent. I kept my eyes closed, letting go as Cole got off the motorcycle. For a second I was about to open my eyes as it was suspiciously quiet and I thought he may have been pranking me and running away while I sat there with my eyes shut.

But he hadn't run away, he was still right there as I felt him lift me up bridal style and carry me off to... Well, I really didn't know where.

I listened carefully trying to decipher where we were, but I only could hear Cole's even slow breaths as he kept walking. It was incredibly quiet, but not in an eerie sort of way, rather a comfortable peaceful almost mediation like way.

He set me down gently, my feet hitting something not quite solid, I kept my grip firm on his arm to keep from falling on the shifty ground.

"Open your eyes." He said quietly, slowly I opened my eyes, taking in my surroundings.

The unstable ground turned out to be sand, the sand of a beach, one that was completely abandoned except for Cole and I.

Waves lapped at the shore in a smooth rhythmic way, leaving the sand wet and smooth.

I grinned, but couldn't help wondering, "why are we here at night?"

A wide grin spread on his face, making slight dimples appear on his cheeks, "because then it's just us and we can watch the sun rise together."

A smile spread on my face, matching his expression, I laced my fingers between his, "you're amazing."

Cole gave a playful smirk, "I know."

I rolled my eyes, reaching to shove him playfully but he dodged, coming back at me with the oldest rhyme ever, "missed me! Missed me! Now you gotta kiss me!" He taunted.

"Fine," I arched my brows, slowly striding toward him, "I will."

Cole grinned deviously, "gotta catch me first!"

He took off running, sprinting down the empty beach with a loud hearty laugh. His laugh was contagious, and I found myself laughing too as I ran after him.

☠ Cole's POV ☠
Molly chased after me, laughing as I childishly taunted her. I glanced over my shoulder wearing an enormous grin, as I ran down the beach toward the water.

Splashing through the shallows, I stood knee deep in the ocean, placing my hands on my hips, daring her to come in the water.

"Seriously?" Molly stopped at the waters edge, staring at me then down at her leather boots.

I shrugged, giving her a triumphant smirk, "I dare you."
