No means I dare you

My eyes widened in shock as I spotted the  source of the groggy female voice. Clothes were strewn about my father's room, the woman wrapped in a blanket seemed to only be wearing that blanket.

I gawked at her, who the hell was she? She gave an awkward but polite smile, her platinum blonde hair falling in her face as she wiped off her beyond smudged lipstick. I was disgusted, slowly I backed out of the room just as my dad was walking in. I slammed into him, whirling around, my face red with rage.

"What the hell!" I shrieked at him, gesturing to the lady in his bed, with an appalled look.

"Calm down." He insisted, gripping my shoulders.

I shook off his hold, glaring at him, "who the hell is she?!"

"This is Nicole," my dad gestured to the platinum blonde, "she's my new girlfriend."

I gave him a snide sarcastic smile, "well aren't you two moving quickly!" I stormed out of the room, I was beyond pissed.

Running to my room I quickly changed clothes, pulling on a grey t-shirt sweater dress and black uggs. I brushed my straight ash brown hair, glancing in the mirror before walking out of my room and right to the front door.

"Molly!" My dad called after me as I slammed the door.

Turning my anger to adrenaline, I walked into the night anger and confusion swirling through my head as I kept walking. I didn't pause or slow till the city lights were illuminating my path. The town was abuzz with night life.

I spotted the bright lit up pastel colors of the fro-yo shop and went straight toward it. Nothing like sugar to help with anger.

Walking in, I quickly got my yogurt, paid and walked out. The shop was crowded and I wasn't feeling very friendly and social.

The wind whipped my hair in my face as I crossed the parking lot and took a seat on a bench. Memories of the last time I'd been here came crashing back. The time with Cole when we'd dumped vodka on each other, and the time I met Danny. I had mixed emotions toward this bench...

A hand grasped my shoulder, I screamed and leapt up, flipping around to find myself staring at Keegan.

"What the heck!" I screamed at him as he burst out laughing, "I thought you were a kidnapper or something! You nearly gave me a freakin heart attack!"

Keegan gasped for breath as his laughter slowed, "sorry, you just looked really spaced out."

"I was thinking." I snapped back, giving him a glare.

"Where's your boyfriend?" He questioned, glancing around as if he expected Cole to appear out of thin air.

I shrugged, "I don't know. Why?"

"No reason." He answered, seemingly distracted. That was when I noticed he wasn't making eye contact. Instead his gaze was lowered at my extremely tight sweater dress.

Protectively, I folded my arms across my chest, clearing my throat, he blinked a few times, meeting my eyes with a slightly confused state, "what was that?" He asked tentatively, thinking I'd said something.

"What are you staring at?" I questioned, though I already knew.

He gave an eyebrow shrug, "nothing."

I arced a brow, saying nothing as we had a silent standoff of facial expressions. He raised both eyebrows, I did the same, he refused to blink, so did I.

He crossed his arms, I kept mine crossed, he narrowed his eyes, mine were already narrowed. His lips curved in a smirk, mine stayed a thin line.

Finally, he blinked, giving in, "fine, yes I was staring, you just look amazing in that dress."
