Gaby's POV

I stared down at the grave. Antonia stood beside me, holding the flowers that we had bought for him. "Set them down, love." I put my hand on her shoulder. She nodded and gently placed them upon his stone.

"He was such a good boy, wasn't he?" I said to her. My voice cracked, and there was a knot in my throat. Antonia didn't say a word. We were still devastated after three months of Hide's passing. His father came with us to visit twice, and those were the only times we talked.

But the only things we said was about how he was such an excellent student and how he made us laugh. Nothing about each other or how we were doing. That didn't matter.

Antonia started walking away. "I'll wait in the car." She said quietly. I nodded at her and looked back at Hide's grave. I kneeled before it.

"I miss you." That's all I said. The flowers that Antonia had put down fell, covering the date of when he was born and when he died. I left them there; I didn't want to see the date of when he was taken away from us, I wouldn't accept it.

I got up and walked to the car, where my niece awaited for me. "Let's go home." I sighed and buckled up. Antonia just mumbled. "Mmhm." She rested her right cheek on her fist, and looked out the car window.

The silence was deafening as we drove back home. There was at least half an hour left of the car ride, and I couldn't handle the silence much longer. "Did you know that when you were a baby, Hide was the one to feed you with a bottle all the time?" I said.

Antonia looked over at me. "Really?" she asked. I smiled and nodded. "Yup. Whenever I was busy with paperwork, he would always offer to feed you. Actually, him and Akane would fight over who would feed you." A soft chuckle slipped through my lips.

"Who would usually feed me?" She asked.

"It was always Hide. Akane never ended up doing it because she would get distracted by a toy I would hand her. I trusted Hide more; him being the older one and all." The memory distracted me from everything I was doing.

"But mooom!! I never get to feed her! It's my turn now!" Akane would say. She stood with her arms crossed, and her light brown would fall over before her face. But I could still see the face she was making at me.

Hide already had Antonia in her arms and feeding her.

I sighed. "Baby, I don't have the time right now. How about you feed her next time?" I proposed. But Akane stomped her foot. "I want to feed her today though!!" She began throwing a fit.

My eyes could barely stay open, and I needed to do work. I looked around and saw one of her baby dolls and the toy milk bottle. I immediately grabbed it. "Here! Your baby needs to be fed too! She must be starving!"

Akane gave me a dirty look. "It's a boy mom." She took the toy from my hands and walked away. A relief swept over me and I could finally go back to work-

"GABY WATCH OUT!" Antonia screeched beside me. I widened my eyes and looked forward. I had turned into the opposite lane, and another car was heading towards me. I stepped on the brakes and my car spun in circles.

The car before me was also spinning, and it was getting closer and closer until-

Random Doctor's POV

"The patients were a nurse and doctor that work here in the hospital." I spoke out to the crowd of doctors and nurses that stood before me.

"The patient in the other car was her ex-husband." Some people were silent, others were crying their eyes out. "They were an excellent team, Dr. Diaz and Nurse Lopez. They will forever be in our hearts."

Someone spoke up. "What happened?" Their voice sounded distressed. I looked in the direction of where it came from.

It was a young girl, with (your hair color) hair and (your eye color) eyes. A young boy with black hair and eyes followed behind her. In his hands was a teddy bear and a white card. I cleared my throat.

"There was a car crash earlier today. Three victims died. Two of them worked here in the hospital. Their names were Gabriella Diaz and Antonia Lopez. The third victim was Gabriella's ex-husband, Ivan." The girl cupped her hand over her mouth.

I continued to speak. "Gabriella died at 9:30 a.m today. And Antonia died at 11:00 a.m this morning." That was only two hours ago. The boy pulled the girl into his arms.

Kaneki POV

(Y/N)'s cries were loud. I held mine in. We were back at her house, and my mother was here as well. (Y/N)'s parents were huddled around her, sniffling and trying to comfort her. My mother was breaking down in silent tears with me.

This didn't feel real.
