The Princess and the Guardian

Chapter 9

*Jack Frost*

I'm so happy that me and Elsa are together now!! I hated being away from her, I have many questions for her and now that we're together I hope she can answer them.

We are still sitting down here at the table, but Anna keeps giving me weird looks. I'm guessing she wants answers to Elsa's sudden mood change with me. Not to mention that Kristoff keeps giving worried yet happy glances at me and Elsa.

We always tell our best friends everything and I don't wanna keep another secret from Anna, it's bad enough I didn't tell her I liked her sister when she told me she liked her sisters best friend. Elsa doesn't want to tell anyone, but I think it's best if we told at least Anna and Kristoff. Maybe Tooth.

Everyone was giving Elsa the details and joys of being a Guardian, also the rules. Then Elsa said something that surprised both Anna, king Manny and everybody.

"What if Jack showed me how to use my powers in a safe way for children?" Elsa said in a kind tone. Manny thought for a minute.

"No offense but don't you two hate each other?" The king asked us both. Elsa quickly responded although she looked annoyed.

"Ugh! Of course I hate him...but there's no other option. Also he is just like me so..." she said. Wow she actually looks like.she hates me, but she's holding my hand tight under the table.

"If you don't want Jack to teach you then you could always let another ice bender help you." King Manny said. Elsa looked at him.

"No thanks father, but I'd rather trust Jack than anybody else. Plus I trust him, but not too much trust to not hate him" Elsa continued. Wow, it actually looks like she hates me.

If she wasn't holding my hand under the table while she speaks then I would be sure she loathes me.

"Alright, then when do you wanna start training?" I asked trying my best to sound a little hurt from her words.

"What about now. So we can get this over with." She said in an annoying tone. I nodded. We let go of each other's hands and stood up.

"To make this clear, I don't want anyone watching because I get nervous and scared and everything goes wrong. I could hurt someone and I know when someone's watching me even if I can't see them." Elsa said in a commanding voice, everyone nodded knowing they had to respect her.

"Let's go Jack." She said annoyed and walked towards the castle door. I waved goodbye and followed her.

She was walking towards the forest once we got out of sight and were deep in the forest I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind her, she started giggling.

"That actually looked like you hated me." I stated.

"Thanks. Being mean to you all these years actually made me a better actress. Don't worry I didn't mean any of that." She said leaning her head backwards to my chest.

"I know were we can go! The Swan Lake is the only place dad can't see us. It doesn't appear on the globe. When it's night and dad does his job as the man in the moon, he can't see us in the Swan Lake but we can see him. We can see each other there every night." She said excitedly. Not a bad idea.

"You know that's actually a great idea. Then we better get there now so we can spend the rest of the day together than say we were training." I said hugging her close to me and placing my chin on her neck. She shivered at my touch, which made me happy.

We intertwined our hands and started to walk towards the direction that leads to the Swan Lake. Once we got there it was beautiful, but not as beautiful as my Elsa.

It was sunny, it had many trees and bushes, a pond in between and a little bridge on top of the pond, ironic because the place was called Swan Lake when really it is a Pond, wierd. Swan lake was always sunny and shiny and at night it was more beautiful. It was never cold here and it never, snowed, rained, it was never windy, never Autumn, and never summer hot like. It was a perfect temperature place.

"This place is beautiful, but not as beautiful as you Elsa. Are you sure Manny won't find us?" I said kissing her cheek. She smiled.

"No, he can't, right now it's as if we disappeared from the globe and if he tries looking at us from the moon it's like we're invisible. Amazing right?" She said smiling. I hugged her and we went to sit down on the grass.

I could feel the sun on my skin, thankfully it's a magical place so the sun won't make us weak. It felt nice to be with Elsa. Even though i felt guilty for hiding our relationship, I was happy. Which reminds me...

"Elsa? What if we told Anna and Kristoff about us? Maybe even Tooth? They are our best friends and we should never keep secrets from them, they deserve to know." I said sincerely. She seemed to think about it.

"Alright. Kristoff knows I agreed to go.to the ball with you as a date. Anna just thinks we are going as nothing but partners, and Tooth doesn't know anything about us." She explained. I nodded.

"We should tell them later." I stated. She nodded and laid on the grass resting her head on my lap. I being me played with her hair.

"Elsa, you said you hated me because you had your reasons...what are they?" I asked curiously she looked at me and frowned a little.

"I never hated you...in fact I enjoy having you around. When you were taking care of me years before, I was turning 17. I had a crush on you, but I knew the law and I thought if I was mean to you then you would hate me and keep your distance. I was wrong, you became friends with Anna, but every day you would ask me if something was wrong. Eventually you kept some distance, but you would still ask me. It hurt me to be mean to you, but what could I do? I told all my feelings for you to Kristoff, but when he left...I was torn. I didn't have that best friend anymore, I of course had Tooth, but it wasn't the same. I kept on like that and I thought that if one day i could get enough evidence when I was queen then I could help change the law. This went on until yesterday when Kristoff came and he gave me some advise on trying to be more friendly with you. When you asked me to the ball I took his advise and agreed, i also agreed to be a couple which he freaked out about. I told him it was only for tomorrow, now today you and I started as a real couple." She explained, I thought I was about to cry.

All this time I thought I did something wrong on taking care of her, but instead everyday she hurt herself trying to conceal her feelings just so I could be safe. Manny would kill me if he found out I was in love with Elsa.

"Elsa..." I couldn't find the right words.

"I'm sorry for all the times I offended you, yelled at you, pushed you, ignored you, when all you did was take care of me. I just wanted you to find someone better who you could actually love without being scared of letting the world know." She said standing up and started crying a little. I got up and hugged her close to me.

"Shhh Elsa, it's alright. I will never find someone to replace you. I love you and no one else. When I met you, it was as if you were my reason to exist. You were my life and without you, I'm nothing." I said gently kissing her forehead.

"Thank you Jack." She said and wiped her tears away. I decided to change the subject.

"Wanna swim in the pond?" I asked a little excited. She nodded smiling.

"Wait. What about our clothes?" I asked a bit disappointed.

"I'll take care of that." She stated smiling. She was waving her hands over herself.

Suddenly she was wearing an icy blue bikini. I smiled at her, I knew she wasn't embarrassed because I've seen her in a bikini before. Then she waved her hands towards me and a pair of shorts appeared on me, I was of course shirtless.

I picked her up bridal style and ran in the water. Elsa was laughing so much.

I updated again. I decided to update soon so you won't have to wait forever, plus I had lots of free time today. So the district did cancel school today tho I'm not sure about tomorrow. I'll just has to watch the news. That's all I have to say, bye!!!
