The Princess and the Guardian

Chapter 96

*Jack Frost*

"You did what?! Jack I swear, you're going to give me a heart attack one day!" Elsa shrieked as we sat on the couch. I had my arm wrapped around her and everyone else, including the guardians, were surrounding us.

"When I over heard dad telling Anna that you had gone out there I-I thought I was gonna lose you, Jack." Elsa said and laid her head on my shoulder.

"I had to. I imagined Leo, Katrina, and the kids in need of help....I couldn't just save them and leave the others behind." I said to everyone.

"Jack, what you did was very impressive, heroic, brave, smart, yet also very stupid, idiotic, and crazy. But I'm proud of you, Jack." Anna said to me and we laughed.

"I nearly died, but.....I did it because I thought of that little girl. She....she had a life ahead of her. She didn't deserve to die. She recognized me and in her eyes, I could see that she was scared, yet I knew that she had to live. It wasn't her fault the war was going on." I said and felt Elsa snuggle closer. I kissed her forehead and laid my head on hers.

"That was a very heroic act of a King, Jack. I'm proud if you." Manny said. I smiled at him and nodded once. I was happy I was alive and back home to where I belonged. With Elsa.

*a few days later*

"These baby clothes are so cute!" Elsa said as we looked through the baby clothes. We were currently at the 'Fancied Baby' store. The have really good clothes of 100% cotton and very soft materials that are good for the baby. Anna recommend this store for us a few days ago and Elsa and I decided to check it out. We hadn't gone much baby clothes shopping because we thought it would be a good idea to do it a few weeks to a month before the baby was actually born.

"I like this one." I said and held up a baby monkey suit. Elsa smiled and then started laughing softly.

"I'm not dressing my kid as a monkey." Elsa said and then chuckled.

"Fine. How about this one?" I said and held up an outfit. She smiled and nodded checking the size. I handed it to the maid that came with us as she held the basket with the outfits.

"Thank you." I said as she tagged along and she bowed down at me. I took Elsa's hand and we paid for everything then headed back to the Castle. We got so many outfits, many of which Anna brought in for the baby, and what we just bought.

Over the weeks, many of the Princesses who some are now Queens, will come and see Elsa and bring a gift or something. You see, when a King or Queen retires, they usually stay in the castle and just become the 'Sir' or 'Ma'am'. They don't go back to being Prince or Princess. Yeah, the Royalty rules in the Spirit World compared to the Human World, are much different.

Now, they have that option or....they give their Spirit life to the Angel of Death. They usually give their lives after they have watched they're kids rule and have a family. They get to be grandparents and whatch them grow for some time, then, when they consider its the right time to leave, they leave into deep sleep.

I think that's one of the major reasons Elsa didn't get pregnant at first. I always imagined our family to be big, of course I never told her that but I think she knew all along. I think she knew what I wanted but at the same time I think that's what she wanted as well. Manny of course has a long way to go he still has two daughters to take care of, he has Kristine and our baby along the way. I'm sure he'll be happy, but I also think that he will be sad. He's the old King of the Spirit World the one to lead everyone, I took his place as King with his beautiful eldest daughter by my side.

Though if it is thought through about it, I think that's what Elsa was afraid all along. That life will go on too fast and the time will come that Manny, hoping its not too soon, will have his time to leave. Manny was King for Billions and Billions of years, now that he passes it on....Elsa will have a hard time.
