The security guard immediately straightened when he recognized the car approaching the main gate of the Boonruang estate.

A second later, the gates began to slide open.

Nai gave the man a small nod of acknowledgment as he drove through.

Despite being married to Zo for some time now, Nai still wasn't used to people treating him differently. The security guards, servants, chauffeurs, and household staff all recognized him now. Some even addressed him as a member of the family. It still felt strange.

As the car rolled up the long driveway, Nai couldn't help glancing at the sprawling mansion ahead.

The Boonruang residence looked more like a luxury resort than a family home. Every time he came here, he found something new he hadn't noticed before. A fountain. A garden. An entire wing he hadn't realized existed.

The place was absurdly huge.

Nai parked near the front entrance and barely had time to unfasten his seatbelt before a servant hurried over and opened the car door for him.

"Thank you," Nai said automatically.

The servant bowed politely.

The mansion's elderly butler was already waiting nearby. The moment Nai stepped out, the butler offered him a respectful bow. "Welcome home, Young Master Nai."

Nai smiled awkwardly. That greeting still made him uncomfortable.

The butler had been calling him that ever since the wedding.

Home.

The word felt far too intimate. Yet nobody in the Boonruang family seemed to think so.

"The Madam is waiting for you," the butler informed him. He gestured toward one of the nearby maids. "Please escort Young Master Nai."

The maid bowed and immediately led the way.

Nai followed after her. Internally, he was grateful for the guidance.

The mansion was a maze. Every hallway looked expensive. Every veranda looked identical. Every corridor seemed to lead to three more corridors. If someone left him alone here, he was almost certain he would get lost.

They walked through several long open-air verandas overlooking beautifully maintained gardens. Colorful flowers bloomed everywhere. The faint scent of jasmine drifted through the warm afternoon air.

Eventually, the maid stopped near one of the estate's private gardens.

Ahead stood a large gazebo surrounded by flowering bushes and decorative ponds. Inside sat Gina and Sainam.

The maid stopped at the entrance to the garden and politely gestured forward. Apparently, she wasn't permitted to enter.

Nai gave her a grateful smile. "Thank you." Then he continued alone.

The sound of his footsteps on the stone pathway immediately caught Gina's attention. Her face lit up. "Nai!" She waved enthusiastically.

Nai couldn't help smiling.

As soon as he reached the gazebo, Gina stood up.

Before he could even greet her, she pulled him into a hug. "Welcome home, dear."

Nai froze for half a second before awkwardly hugging her back. Now he truly understood where Zo inherited his love for physical affection.

The entire Boonruang family seemed incapable of greeting people normally.
