Chapter 33: 60 seconds of the so-called-date ♥

“Bwiset.” –Inis kong bulong ng makalabas ako ng opisina. Wag niyo kong tanungin kung bakit ako nabi-bwiset di ko din alam. =___= Dahil ito sa presensya nila. Yun lamang.

Nakita ko na naman ang pagmumukha ni Xander. Nakakainis talaga. Para siyang asong sunod ng sunod kay Athena. Kung nasan yung babaeng yun nandun din siya. Bwiset! Silang lahat.

Ah. I should stop seriously. =__=  Dire-diretso lang akong naglalakad. Nang biglang may humigit sakin sa kanang braso ko. Susuntukin ko na nga sana kaso agad akong napatigil ng makitang si Seamu---Este si Xander yun.

"What in the world are you doing?" -His voice was dangerously low. Pero as usual nagmatigas ako. My eyes showed no emotion, no reaction--not even fear. I can't let him intimidate me. I won't let him.

". . ." -I simply stared at him not bothering to utter even a word. His grip wasn't too loose for me to escape nor too tight to hurt me.

"Talk to me would you?! Don't treat me like the wind. Briedina, don't tell me we're back from where we started." - The mention of that nickname, Briedina, it made me cringe. Suddenly naalala ko ang mga salita niya.

"It's just I find this side of yours quite funny. When we first met you won't even utter a world sometimes you would just glare or stare past through me as if I'm not in front of you merely treathing me as if i'm air. That's how cold your personality is, Briedina" -iling ni Xander saka tumingin sa tanawin sa harap niya.

That night I remember. It was like for once in a while nakatakas ako sa realidad. There's no past that's haunting me and no future that I will have to worry about. It's just the present. Nothing less and nothing more.

It's quite sad na wala na akong magagawa para maibalik yun. It's just now. Wala na eh. He's the person loved by the person I despise the most.

Am I sounding too bitter? Ampalaya na ba talaga ang peg ko? Tch. 

Come to think of it. He's the very first guy who passed through those barriers of mine (well.---er except for Than maybe?) -___-"

"Lian? / Xander?" -Agad napatigil si Xander at ako. Duh~ Medyo malapit kaya ang mukha namin tas hawak hawak niya pa yung braso ko -__-"

Nasa likod ni Xander si Ethan habang nasa likod ko si Athena. Damn. I feel we're in some kind of shitty drama. Hindi siya komportable. Pramis. L(-__-)

Dahan dahan namang binitawan ni Xander ang braso ko. All of the sudden nasa harap ko na si Than. And he's staring at Xander dangerously. Tumakbo naman si Athena sa side ni Xander.
