I couldn't seem to catch my breath, my ribs began to hurt and tears formed in my eyes. But this is how it always was when I was with Ashton, especially when he decides to be in one of his 'goofy' moods.

"You made me choke on my soda, Ashton!" I whine, wiping the liquid off my chin with a napkin.

Ashton only chuckles, shrugging his broad shoulders as he puts another piece of steak into his mouth.

"And you say I'm not funny." He says rolling his eyes exaggeratedly.

I sigh, wiping at the corner of my eyes, a tired smile on my lips from all the laughing I did seconds ago.

"Whatever, eat your food." I say picking my fork up and pointing at his half eaten steak. Although, I've barely touched my food.

"Me? Look at your plate, young lady. If you don't eat half the plate your paying for the whole meal." Ashton says and I chuckle, shrugging my shoulders.

"I'm okay with tha-"

"Never mind, I'm paying for the meal that's final." Ashton says because he knows I don't mind paying for this when he rarely ever lets me pay for anything.

I chuckle and shrug, stabbing my fork into my food.

"Tell me how Anthony called me at work today asking me when I was going back to the gym," I chuckle, "it's only been like a week.. Or two."

"Tell him your preoccupied with your needy boyfriend." Ashton says raising his brow cheekily at me.

"I did." I reply, a smirk on my lips. I told Anthony something along those lines, anyways.

"Good, your not planning on working out again are you?" Ashton asks, placing a piece of potato in his mouth.

I shrug, waiting to finish chewing my food that's in my mouth before responding to him. "I mean.. I might, I kind of miss it." I shrug.

"Don't get me wrong, working out is great and everything but Kat... at one point you really over did it and I mean - your still incredibly thin now." Ashton says sympathetically, reaching out to touch my hand.

"It wasn't even that serious." I mumble, sticking my fork in my mouth.

"It was though, tell me you didn't lose a lot of weight from before you met me till now." Ashton says raising a brow at me.

I sigh, looking around at the almost vacant restaurant.

"Well I'm probably not even going to start working out again because I have to start everything with Nathan and the company." I reply plainly, picking at my food.

Ashton doesn't say anything to me but stare at me. He's reading me know doubt, I'm sure he knows I'm a little bummed that he isn't supportive.

But it didn't really matter did it? I was going to be busy for god knows how long and maybe Ashton was right, maybe I was thin enough. For now.

"Frankie wants us to go to a club with him and Lewis." I say to Ashton who just walked out the bathroom, his hands wiping up and down the side of his legs.

"Do you want to go?" He asks, taking a seat at the end of the bed, waiting for my answer.

I shrug, "Kind of, I'm kind of in the mood for some alcohol." I chuckle, swinging my legs to the edge of the bed and begin walking towards my closet.

We usually always went to bars but not so much clubs, so I couldn't wear my casual-ish clothes.

"Do you still have my black jeans here?" Ashton says from my bedroom. I nod, although I'm in the closet and Ashton can't see me.
