I must have imagined that it sounded like a child's voice but in my head? That can't be right....for some reason even though it was a child's voice it sounded like a command from that of an Alpha.
It...was....odd
I found myself submitting to the words in a way, I didn't feel the need to come up with reasons as to why my niece couldn't have circumstances like her mothers.
Her mother...Rosalinda, it was said she was meant to be Alpha of her pack from the very beginning due to the power she oozed from her body since she was a child. But because she was born to an average couple in her pack, they figured she'd grow weaker once she grew older seeing as she was a female. So they handed the title to the Alphas' eldest son.
When Rosa turned 16 she found out she was cheated out of her title, a title she was born for....created for, all because she was a girl. The Alpha inside her broke free from its prison, her wolf was beyond furious. The Alpha at the time was 5 years her senior, regardless of his age she challenged him anyway her wolf not caring about the consequences.
She demanded he turn the title of Alpha to her so she could protect the pack the way the Lunar Gods had deemed she would, by giving her the power of an Alpha. The Alpha refused, because he saw it as his birth right since his father was his predecessor.
So they dueled both of them shifting to their wolf forms letting their wolves take over. Rosa a pure white wolf with sterling silver eyes against the Alpha who was a dark gray wolf with muddy brown eyes. He roared before he lunged at her, she dipped her head, and went straight for his throat biting into it with force. Enough force to bring him down without killing him....
-Couldn't say how many times she's told this story. But I can say I've committed it to memory at this point-
You would wonder why she wouldn't just go to end him, the jerk who stole her title but she knew it wasn't his fault he was always told it was his birth right. So she took him down waiting for him to submit to her. It took him 30 minutes of struggling, to finally submit to her as the new alpha. Once he did she shifted back as did he, and she did what others never thought she'd do.....she asked him to be her beta.
He stood there in front of her with his mouth a gape wondering if she was serious...to this day he still helps my brother, and her run the pack................
