AN: Hola. So... had a good time at school? Cool...

Next, we had History of Magic with the Hufflepuffs, as Rose told us while we walked out of Potions. As we queued outside the classroom, I looked over to see Pippa- the girl from the boat- lingering. She seemed to be wondering about whether or not she should come over to us. I nudged Rose, and she looked up and waved at her.

"Pippa! Hi!" Pippa gratefully came over to us.

"Oh hey guys... you remember me? From the boats? I wasn't sure..." she greeted nervously.

"Yeah!" we chorused back.

"Of course." Lena added, probably wanting to have the last word.

Typical.

I noticed the Hufflepuff group of girls turning round curiously to watch the greeting.

"So how's your first day been?" Lena asked, oblivious to our audience.

"It's been good. We just had Herbology with the Ravenclaws!" she said holding up her hands which were ridden with dirt. "Apparently they normally give us time to wash it off, which is why he let us out early, but we," she indicated her and a few others "got lost and had no time to."

"Ha! Awesome! Hope we don't get lost!" Rose laughed, "We just had potions and the-"

"YOU HAD POTIONS?!" She was cut off by a short Hufflepuff girl, who seemed to be one of the many eavesdropping audience.

Everyone in the corridor suddenly went silent, turning to look. The petite girl blushed furiously. A few people gave her weird looks, and she blushed even harder, turning away and trying to hide behind a Hufflepuff girl, who promptly laughed and moved away from her.

"Summer! Come on!" Pixie tried to hide behind her again, which just ended up with both of them in silent hysterics, as Pixie chased the girl- Summer? - down the corridor. I could see other Hufflepuffs turning red with embarrassment, and not just in our year.

"That's Pixie." Pippa muttered. "She's one of my friends."

As the chatter gradually increased (I heard a lot of 'eurgh, immature first years!' and 'I'm having a word with Mellissa and John, can't the prefects control them?!', etc), Pixie glanced around and spoke in an almost whisper.

"How erm...how was it?"

Rose laughed kindly and said, "Oh, it was good! We had Professor Elder, he only makes you do a simple cure for boils so it's actually quite easy! I can't wait for the more complex stuff- "

"Easy?" Felix interrupted out conversation cutting Rose off yet again."How was that easy?" he asked incredulously. "I ended up with a fricking PINK potion and I followed the instructions word for word!"

Everyone laughed at his expense, whilst Albus mumbled out between gasps for air,

"If you hadn't been mucking around, you wouldn't have spilt half your potion on your textbook, so you couldn't actually SEE the instructions!"

Felix smirked to himself. "Yeah well, what's life without a bit of fun, eh?!"

"That sounds really fun..." Pixie stared dreamily into the distance.

"Err, hello? Earth to Pixie!" Another Hufflepuff girl clicked in front of her face, and Pixie blinked. "Oh stop daydreaming Pixie!"She scolded amiably. "Oh I'm Leanne by the way! These girls are Lizzie, Cece, Belle .... Erm... you've probably figured out Summer and Pixie and err, I think you know Pippa." We all nodded at each other. "The Puffle boys seem to be talking to your boys."
