"Err guys...?" I started to mutter.
"Later Asha! We need to leave!" I felt Lena grab my arm to drag me away, so I let her. I could tell them later. Now was not the time to be dawdling, for if we got caught, there would be no point in knowing about the letter...
Even though it was written in blood red ink...
And had the name 'Potter' not knowing something...
And was basically the epitome of suspiciousness.
But right now, I was stuck in a teachers office about to be caught red handed, so a note, no matter it's suspiciousness can wait....
I mean I can tell them later....
So I turned round, leaving the note, to see James checking the 'sacred' parchment. Again.
I don't even understand that thing...
He looked up at us and nodded, "Come on, let's go."
We rushed out (Lena locking the door and shoving the other key half- way underneath the door, so that it was visible but not obvious) and then ran as fast as we could, and I know I wasn't the only one shaking.
"James, you told us you'd keep an eye on when he was coming!" Albus growled, as we made our way down a corridor, all having slowed to a walk after being satisfied that no one was chasing after us.
I looked at Lena and Rose, and smirked, none of us deciding to mention the fact that we hadn't even thought about it...
"Well Rose, Lena and Asha should've been looking out, they weren't doing anything!" James objected, but Rose gave a prim cough.
"Excuse me, but you came up with the plan, we expected you to have thought about that!" Rose retorted.
She seemed to have recovered, but she was still being a bit short tempered.
Short tempered Rose was normal. Short tempered Rose in a bad mood, was to be treated with great caution...
It's almost as though she had a 'FRAGILE: Handle with care' sign' in her. One both Lena and I noticed with fleeting looks.
"And in case you've forgotten James, had you not found that Detonating thing, then Asha and I would've either been the ones to save your butts or get in trouble for your prank." Lena said, and I found myself whole heartedly agreeing with her. That had been the most terrifying experience of my life.
No kidding.
"Exactly- ladies and gentlemen, the key word was 'had I not'. Of course I would've found it- I did find the Detonators! And you'll find that there would be no need - as Lena so nicely put it- for Lena and Asha to 'save our butts'."
"That was more than one word." Lena muttered, but I was fuming by that point.
C'mon! The guy just said that me and Lena were hiding behind a door.
Sounds so simple- yeah, we were hiding behind a door without worrying about getting beaten up by it if he slammed it into our faces, and worrying about getting caught by the most infuriating teacher in the school (that I've met so far!)
And he said we'd done it all for nothing!
"Then why exactly were me and Lena hiding behind a door?" I asked.
"His idea. Not mine." James pointed at his brother.
Rose suddenly huffed at the three boys before exclaiming, "Oh, you're insufferable! Come on." Rose glared at James, Albus and Felix before stalking off.
